EWU has a ton more QBs making money still playing QB than WSU does, if you want to get right down to it.

Not only that, but if he's in the same room or shook hands with these kids he acts like was personally responsible for training them from 8th grade through senior year of college. IF that were the case, he wouldn't have to schill so hard to get kids offers, because all the top talent would be going to him to get the extra needed for the next level. But they aren't. Because he's a fraudIt’s really simple; he takes credit when “his guys” get D1 offers and needs a scapegoat when they don’t.
I’ve seen him post his list. Buddha Baker, Myles Jack; guys who probably had offers in the 8th grade.
He probably sold this kids parents that he could get their son offers and needs someone to blame.
It’s sad really. Kid should be proud he got a ride and EWU is a good program.
Either using Vernon Adams math skills or "playing QB" means Bo Levi Mitchell is now completing his passes in porn. What QB from Eastern that is a QB in the NFL? We have Minshew. Who from there is on an NFL roster?

Ford is selling families on the P5 and the NFL, not the Big Sky and the CFL.There’s more than one league in which to make money, hoser.
He might get an offer with the new staff.Seriously, did anyone else see this kid in the 4A state finals? What athleticism

The lame thing is it’s obvious our coaches have been in contact with Josh and his Dad. I find it hard to believe Tracy doesn’t know that. This guy is such a blow hard. Lol. Apparently doesn't know (or doesn't care) that college coaches are programs can't tweet about specific high school programs. Looks like he's now got both WSU & UW fans ripping him. At least we can all agree on one thing.

“I’m the only one who truly cares about your son in the entire State.”
Isn't it a violation for either program to make comment on a HS team? This guy is such a blow hard. Lol. Hey man, Vancouver just got a whopping $159k for upgrades to Pearson Field. That schtick works for Jay Inslee, too.
Apparently "we" aren't smart enough to take care of our own well-being.
Flim flam artists give them the old razzle dazzle.
Why anyone gives T Ford any oxygen is beyond me. From what I read on this board he might be elevated to Pope. He is an AAU guy, who is trying to do what is best for his kids. I appreciate someone regardless if he he or she gets paid to advocate for kids. Do you think many coaches do? My experience around them as they don't have the time or energy to do so.The lame thing is it’s obvious our coaches have been in contact with Josh and his Dad. I think he does make a point. WSU...not dickert, not the coaching staff, but the university would do well to recognize all high schools. It is a small gesture that takes little effort or forethought that can go a long way showing WSU cares about instate football...and I believe they do.

Did I say they are mutually exclusive?: You don't think high school and college coaches don't have a financial stake to what is best for their team and kids?"who is trying to do what is best forhis kidshimself" FTFY.
I don't believe the university or athletic department can comment about high school programs.
Because ? Potential recruits? Maybe. I know they can't personally talk about an individual player. But with NIL and transfer portal, commenting on GP beating Georgia seems a bit dated at this point. Toothpaste is already out of the tube.I don't believe the university or athletic department can comment about high school programs.
For Idaho, Tracy Ford's players probably an upgrade from the previous AAU handlers they dealt with: Tracy Fiat and Tracy Yugo.I watched the new Idaho coach introduction and he mentioned Tracy Ford and getting him involved in Idaho football. I laughed when he said bring in past great players.
AAU coaches and people like Tracy Ford only try to instill fear into families that their kid may not get a look if they don't join said type of organization.Did I say they are mutually exclusive?: You don't think high school and college coaches don't have a financial stake to what is best for their team and kids?
I am not making out Ford to be a savior or a saint, but he is an advocate for his business and for his clients, which happen to be the kids.
Last week I had surgery. The doc had to go to battle for me with the insurance company who originally denied the request. Did he do it out of purity, or was there an element of business involved.
Not sure you have been around AAU hoops in the last 15 years, but that would give you a ton of insight. You think teams from Spokane, and Seattle or Olympia really need to "showcase" their kids in a Georgia Nike tourney?
The Hull sisters certainly did not. Stanford flew to the Warehouse tourney in Spokane to watch. But the ego and business side of things tells these AAU coaches to go on these trips.
Ummm...the doc gets paid if he performs the surgery. if not he does not get paid.AAU coaches and people like Tracy Ford only try to instill fear into families that their kid may not get a look if they don't join said type of organization.
I'd tell those people f*** off.
On another note, I think your doc did it out of purity, as the way I've understood it, they get paid the same regardless. Genuinely hope you're recovering well and resting up.
He's not performing surgery. It's more like being an agent. Would most of these players who are good enough to get rides get them without FSP? Yeah. Maybe he and his training help them get better rides, or, as is the primary pitch, the training or exposure is getting the marginal kid who wouldn't otherwise get one get a ride. That's what he'll claim, but it's hard to prove either way. Contrast that with the surgeon. Would the growth be removed without the surgeon? No.Ummm...the doc gets paid if he performs the surgery. if not he does not get paid.
The problem you seem to have is not with Ford but with AAU coaches. He and others are advocating his product. They aren't being instilled fear, the parents and kids look at AAU as a way to get college paid for. AAU simply is a vehicle of the demand...not the other way around.
When I was in Maui in May, there was a group of woman sitting next to me by the pool. I could hear them chatting about AAU. My youngest wanted me to find out where the daughter played as my daughter started paying AAU in 4th grade and finished up after her junior year.
I started chatting with the woman. Told me her daughter plays for Kobe's old team and that Jasopn Kidd flips the bill and she does not have to pay for anything. I told her Jason more than likely is getting money from somewhere else. She continue to argue. I then asked her how many teams were oin the program at her daughter age. The answer was three. I then asked her how much do they pay? "Gawd I couldn't believe how expensive it was, like 2300 per kid". I said that is where the money is coming from. The silver and bronze teams always pay for the elite team.
So if people have an issue feel free to blame Ford, it is easy. But the real problem is the parents. Ford is simply a symptom.
So your issue really isn’t with with Ford but the job he performs . If there was no demand he would have zip to supply .He's not performing surgery. It's more like being an agent. Would most of these players who are good enough to get rides get them without FSP? Yeah. Did you coach aau girls in the Spokane league anytime between, oh like 2008-2014?So your issue really isn’t with with Ford but the job he performs . If there was no demand he would have zip to supply .
Would most kids get rides if they didn’t play AAU hoops? If your argument it is a racket and rip I won’t disagree with you and i helped run several AAU teams . Huge coach egos . But there is a huge demand cause parents believe this is Feb ticket for their kids .
I did not . I didn’t coach. I was on the board and handle the administrative side of things . Started about 2011 and had teams okay in the warehouse tourney in July in Spokane.Did you coach aau girls in the Spokane league anytime between, oh like 2008-2014?
Oaks, just wondered if maybe we had faced off across the court. My experience with the Spokane area AAU was that it was well run and void of the kind of stories you hear from the much larger markets. That's all I have to say about that.I did not . I didn’t coach. I was on the board and handle the administrative side of things . It is still very well run but if you are nw blazers or the stars there is ego involved and they do sell the showcase of talent to colleges … which is the same thing ford does .Oaks, just wondered if maybe we had faced off across the court. My daughter played Spokane AAU Up until 2019. I think your statement is generally correct but I suspect as time goes on it will be more like what you see in other cities. 4th grade all star teams, kids switching teams mid game etc.Oaks, just wondered if maybe we had faced off across the court. Yes and no. There's a few con artists. They get exposed pretty quickly.Oaks, just wondered if maybe we had faced off across the court. That's already gone through the cycle. Tons of 8th grade superstars living on their 5th grade all-star team trophies. My daughter played Spokane AAU Up until 2019. I think your statement is generally correct but I suspect as time goes on it will be more like what you see in other cities. 4th grade all star teams, kids switching teams mid game etc.
