Oklahoma when Dennis Simmons took a job there?
Green has caught three passes in 14 games over two seasons. Maybe he'll get hot next year.

He could of played a single game in two years for WSU and had more catches than that. They go to programs in order to be "the man" catching the ball. Someone like Victor Bolden would of been way better off at WSU. At OSU- he had less touches than the 3 starters and only 2 touchdowns.
 
Sometimes many HS players do not live up to ratings and potential. Some players mature faster and never improve after high school. He may be one of these players or he just did not work hard enough to improve.
 
And maybe he wanted to play and go to school close to home and near his family. The kid was from Oklahoma, if I recall.

He was originally from California. That is where Simmons first began to recruit him. He and his mother moved to Oklahoma and he finished high school there. If he wanted to play in Oklahoma from the beginning, he could have. But, he did not consider them or any Oklahoma school until Simmons left and recruited him there.
 
On the other side of it though, Demarcus Ayers was pretty darn good at UH. Ended up being drafted by the Steelers.
