Here's a junior season mixtape of Washington State freshman Trevor Dunbar that has over 1.5 million views on YouTube. I'm particularly excited to watch him suit up for the Cougars over the next four years. Human highlight reel.

Dunbar also has a seven episode YouTube series that's worth a watch, if you haven't seen it already.

Yup the old so called traditionalists will ribit that he will have to change his game.. This paint by the numbers approach is loved by people who love slow 6'5 guards at the point. Guys like Dunbar have to get them moving so their lack of quickness becomes a liability in a faster paced game.He will push it which fans will love. However he has to improve his defense at the colegiate level

It was disturbing to hear about the orders not to shoot for some or a lot of the players. I hope the freedom Kent gives players helps with their confidence level and energy. If you recruit a player like Dunbar it's a waste if you don't allow him to play his game. I haven't felt Iroegbu was much of a point guard buy maybe the Kent approach gives him a shot as well. Both Dunbar and Iroegbu have work to do to improve their games but having multiple players that can push the pace in Kent's system is important. Hopefully Lacy improves in this area as well because it woudn't suprise me to see Dunbar, Iroegbu, and Lacy on the court a lot at the same time.

You will see Lacy ,Dunbar and Que on the floor at the same time. Also look to see Ike,and Redding logging a lot of minutes.

Fans will love winning. If the fast pace makes it happen, great. Frankly, I don't give a rip what style the Cougars play as long as it pulls them out of the lower third of the conference, or better.

Glad Cougar

Right...there was a great deal about the last two years that was disturbing. Kent brings a new beginning and perhaps he can get a lot more out of the players that are here as well as working in the new guys.

Begin the Tyjuan Porter comparisons

Though Dunbar is more of a true point man, Porter was just a tiny 2. He'll have to adjust to needing a little more space to get that jumper off in D1 and probably figure out when he can and can't thread the needle on those passes, but he certainly will be fun to watch. Defense will always be a challenge for him.

Both Dunbar and Isabell push the ball off their foreheads, so the ball is already low to begin with. The difference with Dunbar is that he has the quicks to create separation, or so we hope. Woolridge's shot was even lower, but he didn't have much ability if any to create separation.
