As to the NFL interest, there isn't a thing that Mike Leach can't do in his mind, so the answer didn't surprise me. They asked and he candidly answered, like he always does. He did mention the key to and NFL job was having control and not having decisions made by committee, as most are. I doubt there is an NFL franchise that would give him the control he wants, plus most NFL franchises are now so PC, that CML doesn't fit the mold.
One of the more interesting things during the press conference, to me, was his praise for Gunner Cruz and his work ethic and how he came in in the middle of winter, was playing in the snow and didn't let it faze him. The fact that he singled out Cruz says something about him.
