Cougs took on No. 6 UW Thur. night in Pullman. Battled hard, but lost in 5 sets: 22-25, 25-15, 25-11, 20-25, 15-4. Fifth sets are 15 pts.
I think they will show… It was so loud in there, it was truly fun to be in that place. When it's fun, it's fun to return. When it's boring, why return?Hopefully the students show up Saturday and they are able to follow up this loss with a win against Utah.
Looked like a lot of fun and seemed to sound like the Frederick days. Also liked seeing a lot of coaches and athletes from other sports attend as well. Think and hope you are correct.I think they will show… It was so loud in there, it was truly fun to be in that place. When it's fun, it's fun to return. When it's boring, why return?
There were several football players there, supporting, that just didn't make the screen, as well. There were several women's basketball players also but the Men's Basketball made a very concerted effort, as a team, to come out and support. Had a section that was deliberately sectioned off for them next to the band (that didn't just happen on accident so they organized it). Agreed, THAT was very cool. I think as long as the students feel like the team has a shot at winning, they will come. If we start getting blown out by anyone/everyone… that's what takes a toll. A small venue like that, which gets crazy loud, is just fun to be in. Bohler is a cool, cool place.Looked like a lot of fun and seemed to sound like the Frederick days.
