The cougs host udub this Saturday. The mutts are a vastly improved team from last year.The mutts will probably be about a 4 1/2 pt favorite in the game. The mutts have beaten Cal-Davis and USC. The cougs lost to both of these teams . UCLA beat the cougs 96-82 and the mutts by 73-54. The mutts are 11-4 and the cougs 8-6 for the season. It is a winnable game but the cougs have to regroup for this game.

Mutts seem to be pretty inconsistent from what I have seen but much improved over last year. Hope the students come back early and show up in full force.

Unless Skaggs goes off for 60 on 20 made 3's the Cougs and their matador defense are going to be very hard-pressed to win any conference games. The EK beat (down) goes on.

Somebody makes this prediction every year. We don't have the athletes to match up defensively with s lotbof teams but we have the scorers. Never expected over 500 in conference, even when we were 6-0, but still see us winning 5-7 games
