That our D is trash. Bend something enough and it breaks. What are you right about? That were secretly a great team, but don’t want anyone to know?
I know it hurts to admit it. But you’ll feel better afterward.

Leave Arbuckle in San Diego. Holy shit he’s awful, 3 times in 4 weeks now. This game is about focus. Ours isn’t good, and it’s putting us just a half step off. That means receivers don’t quite get open, and backs don’t quite hit the holes. Also means missed tackles and mental mistakes like penalties and muffed punts.
Focus is why you go to the locker room at 14-12 instead of 28-0. And if the other team can keep you unfocused, those mistakes lead to turnovers.
Doesn’t help when playcalling has reverted to just plain bad.
This. This is what I mean by “playing down.”This game is about focus. Ours isn’t good, and it’s putting us just a half step off. That means receivers don’t quite get open, and backs don’t quite hit the holes. Also means missed tackles and mental mistakes like penalties and muffed punts.

Our OL is suddenly going to become dominant? Can we get TF out of empty, run the ball, and run play action please? Same bullshit game plan we ran against FSU.
Arbuckle is an idiot, which makes dickert a bigger idiot$h1ttynplay calling. 7 in the box and we run Mateer up the gut?
Coaching downThis. This is what I mean by “playing down.”
What are you right about? That our defense is mediocre? Gee, that’s some big brain stuff right there. That our D is trash. Bend something enough and it breaks.

He was right. I thought he jumped the gun a bit but he was obviously seeing what was coming. What are you right about? That our defense is mediocre? Gee, that’s some big brain stuff right there.
What do I need to admit?
how do you think we stop the slants ?Their slants and in routes are eating us up. We are consistently out of position.
And the tackling. Atrocious. Bump tackle crap. Wrap up!
Right about what? That the defense is bend but don’t break? It has been for four years. He was right. I thought he jumped the gun a bit but he was obviously seeing what was coming.
Biggs is creaming his pants right now.
Depends on the personnel. Bump the receivers. Drop a DE into coverage. Take away the inside route and force the receiver outside. You know, what coaches should know. An old, washed up football official can see solutions. The point is that with how quickly the QB gets the ball out, we can’t get to him unless we force longer routes.how do you think we stop the slants ?
Did Arbuckle just turn into a genius?Depends on the personnel. Bump the receivers. Drop a DE into coverage. Take away the inside route and force the receiver outside. But then again, I’m not so sure we can stop them. We are out of position, too slow, too unprepared. If we take away the slant they shift to quick out routes which we probably can’t cover either.
Yep. Drop a DE ….(or OLB depending on how you count them).how do you think we stop the slants ?
I agree. He never looked back.Pass Interference... we got lucky
I still remember being in husky stadium where Gardner Minshew had an easy first down but slid feet first where it cost him the first down and it was a turnover. He needed to dive head first there.

Are you disappointed? That was some hokey officiating there. The marks on the sideline are the same as the middle. If you say he’s down at the 37, just take it to the sideline. Seems overly dramatic.
Maybe drop him off in Sacramento and see if he make it to Pullman from thereDoes Arbuckle get to come home, or is he staying in San Diego?
