Depends on the personnel. Bump the receivers. Drop a DE into coverage. Take away the inside route and force the receiver outside. You know, what coaches should know. An old, washed up football official can see solutions. The point is that with how quickly the QB gets the ball out, we can’t get to him unless we force longer routes.

But then again, I’m not so sure we can stop them. We are out of position, too slow, too unprepared. If we take away the slant they shift to quick out routes which we probably can’t cover either.

Focus and execution were problems for 3 quarters, but you have to tip the hat to the way that they have managed to pull out these close ones.
