I have to say that yesterday was a pretty good day. Our team showed some guts when they didn't let a 14 point deficit freak them out, they showed resolve when they delivered the finishing blow by scoring another TD at the end of the game to eliminate all doubt and the crowd in the stadium looked great.
We were in Denver so it was cool to have people yell, "Go Cougs!" at least three different times during the day. Being Pac-12 country (more than Kansas anyway), we saw Utah fans, ASU fans and several full blown Cougs. Only one CU fan though.
We went on a tour of a microbrewery in LoDo and ended up going on the tour with a former Coug volleyball player who was in town for a convention.
We stayed at one off the nicer hotels in Denver (the Crawford) and had a $150 dining credit so we had some off the wall food that I'd never tried before (eggplant fries and bacon wrapped halibut in mussel soup).
It was a good day to be a Coug fan!
