OK brainiacs, now what?

We are now in direct competition with the MW to find team 8. Who's it going to be? OSU is the one that wanted 8 teams. How about Portland State?

You all still worshipping Gloria as she "swung for the fences"?

How's that 2025 schedule coming along?

Opine, or just throw out a bunch of one liner insults. I don't give a F. Tersa and the Pac totally F-ed this up. And spent a shit ton of our money along the way. Our pathetic lawsuit will get laughed out of court. The 5 traitors are probably blowing up Gloria's and their attorney's phones begging to come back home. Oh but I'm stupid and idiotic and all is well. Enjoy. I'm going to go hang with someone smarter than many of you. My dog.

UNLV QB

So, a casino executive offered up $100k to keep the UNLV QB there and UNLV said, "Nope, we won't be working with that f#cker again" or words to that effect.

The thing is, the guy had 318 yards passing through three games. UNLV isn't playing well because of him. If our starting QB was averaging 106 yards per game, we'd be losing our flipping minds no matter what our record was. I don't blame UNLV for telling the guy to take a hike.

Boise and UNLV

Boise State and UNLV look to have 2 of the best programs out West this year. Oregon is #1, but after that, who else? Arizona, Utah, and BYU? Boise can hang with any of them.

I’ve always felt that the top of the MWC was as good as most teams in the P12. This is why I like that we skimmed their top-5 programs. We didn’t need the bottom half.

BSU Watch parties, Sac St.

Completely different topics.
Got my WSU Alumni Assoc. e-mail newsletter, actually impressed by all the watch parties listed. Even one in YakiVegas, pretty close to where I live. I could almost walk there. If there is any interest on the Board, I can copy and paste the (long) list from my e-mail.

Sacramento State? I choose not to opine, other than 30,000 would be a more suitable stadium size. Link below.

Canzano: “Commissioner 101 — don’t extend a membership invite unless you are guaranteed the answer is ‘yes.’”

From yesterday, and a quote I agree with...

Still, the optics aren’t great. One retired long-time conference commissioner texted me a note on Thursday morning with advice for the Pac-12’s Teresa Gould: “Commissioner 101 — don’t extend a membership invite unless you are guaranteed the answer is ‘yes.’”

Coaching Decisions

Dickert has been very public in holding up his hand and saying that the bad coaching calls in the last couple weeks are on him. That said, I'm just kind of curious if he's letting Arbuckle make the calls or if he is really that directly involved. To some degree, it doesn't matter, but I think a lot of what we've seen on some of our sketchy play calling is really more Arbuckle than Dickert. I will say that the fake field goal, skipped field goals and some of the other fourth down conversions is definitely something that Dickert has the responsibility for.

Regardless, it's good for Dickert to let Arbuckle figure things out without it being a spectacle focusing on a relatively young guy figuring out his way. I would like the learning to focus on getting away from throwing for 8 yards when we need to gain 10 or other instances where routes aren't enough to get us first downs.
