Big promotion for Doc Schulz

According to Jon Wilner of the San Jose Mercury-News newspaper:

WSU's president has been elevated to Chairman of the Pac-12's Board of Directors while UW's president is out (lol). The Stanford president Marc Tessier-Lavigne and Arizona president Robert Robbins are on the board but underneath Dr. Schulz

Wilner says these developments are good news for the Pac-12 as the league closes in on its new media rights agreement

"Robbins has vastly more passion for college sports than does Cauce," Wilner said. "In fact, the executive committee now features perhaps the two most sports-savvy presidents in the conference, Robbins and Schulz. The latter serves as the Pac-12’s representative on the College Football Playoff’s board of managers.

Congrats to Dr. Schulz.

Sounds like it's time to "Git-R-Done"

More SDSU Nwes

More SDSU news. I know it is blasphemy to link other site's stories but I'm breaking the rules on this one. Another example of why Shulz is an idiot and a failure. We have so f-ed this up. Geezus Christ.

Minshew

FWIW, the guy coaching Minshew & Richardson is guessing GM will start week 1.

I don’t expect any team to keep a top 5 pick on the bench. But it’s good to hear GM is still pressing. And that he’s still got the team attitude. Whether he starts or not, he’s the kind of guy you want around.

Doc Schulz's relationship with Big 12 power brokers?

(Flat would certainly know more than just anybody on any backstory ...)

But has anyone considered with his connections to the conference as President of Kansas State from 2009-2016, that Dr. Schulz may be positioning WSU to be among the Pac 12 schools that jump to the Big 12?

Could it be that his public comments about a pending Pac 12 TV deal are really just a smokescreen to divert the media's attention?

After all, a lot of these conference changes like USC and UCLA and other have caught the experts by surprise

Semi OT. Update bout move to Arizona, etc.

Hi all. Ok so I have about $2000+ saved up. I need about $3000+ to move closer to my 2 daughters in Phoenix Arizona. I am about 5 to 7 to 10 months until save up $3000+, $1000+ more, and then move.

Studios are between $1000 to $2000 per month. So I'm going to need a RV instead.

Problem is $2000 to $3000 isn't enough, and if it was enough, then I wouldn't have enough left over to pay the gas moving cost, and to move into a $500 to $600 a month RV lot.

I get $1150 a month, and my apartment is $300 a month.

So I have to think outside the box creatively, or need some help in that area.

So I have the following ideas:

1. 4,5 people loan, invest about $2000 each, and in return I'll pay them back $33 a month + instead of them having to stay at a costly hotel overnight on night WSU home games, before they drive back home the next day, instead they can sleep in my RV instead for free(technically not free, because of the $2000 loan), and participate in a free RV tail gate party, etc.

Each $2000 loan would be paid back in about 5 years.

I would need somebody to get me, and my RV to Pullman, and would need a cheap place to park it overnight.

The RV cost will probably be between 7k to 10k to 12k for about a 30ft, 1994 to 2003 to 2010 to 2013 either Travel trailer, or 5th Wheel, or Motorhome, etc, on Craigslist, etc.

I have already seen some awesome deals on craigslist, and am sure there will be some good deals there in future.

If I get a RV less then 11k(4,5 $2000 loans, and $1000 of my own money), then I will split the leftover difference 4,5 ways back to the loaners, so the actual loan amount might be substantially less then $2000 each.

Also the tail gate party would be open to other Wazzu Watch posters, that didn't loan money?

2. A person angel invest loans me about $6k to 8k to 10k to 12k and I pay them back about 135 a month and I will pay them back in about 5 to 7 to 10 years, and they can sleep in my RV, instead of a HOTEL at WSU NIGHTLY home games, and participate in a tail gate party at each home game.

3. I pay about 3k for a 1983 ish RV/Motorhome.

4. Some other suggestion, idea, etc.

Hotel rates can be as much as $250 for a overnight stay after a WSU nightly home game by a westsider.

There are probably about 4 home night games. That means that westsiders would have to pay a hotel $1000 for 4 home night games to stay overnight.

Better to loan me $2000 that I would pay back, to sleep overnight in my RV, instead of paying $1000 to a hotels for 4 overnight stays after 4 nightly home games

The loanee's get their $2000 loans paid back, get to sleep in my RV instead of paying $1000 to hotels, and get about 4,5,6 tail gate parties, and get to help me buy a RV, with their loan, and get to help my daughter and me be closer down in Arizona, etc

Also maybe a Wazzu watch poster could help facilitate this by acting as a go between contact, providing a written contract, etc.

Also maybe it's a good idea, maybe it's a bad idea.

I just need some help, etc.

Also I haven't missed a apartment rental payment in about 30+ years, and haven't ever missed a apartment rental payment my whole life.

Also I tried to get my bank, credit union to loan me the money, but they said they still have to count my $300 a month apt payment, because they can't go by me paying $175 a month for to live in RV, instead of $300 a month for apartment, but instead have to go by $300 a month + $200 a month for $500 a month to calculate debt to income ratio, fora unsecured loan for RV, instead of using the RV for collateral, to repossess it, if default.

They said that it would be about 50/50 to have my loan application accepted, rejected.

So that why I need help, and maybe someone can help me, and maybe someone has some ideas, etc.
