In a sport where southern (warm) schools dominate signing classes, WSU did pretty darn well. At first glance, I don't see anybody north of Virginia with a higer ranking than the Cougs.

Very true and that will be a challenge. Any HS player taken in the top 10 rounds nearly always turns pro...and I suspect there are at least a couple of those among the signees. Kyle Russell of Curtis HS, in particular, is one of the top 200 players in the upcoming draft and certainly one of the top 100 HS players in the country. Fingers crossed they all end up headed for Pullman.
