Two possibly relevant entries on the Pullman PD activity log:
5:37AM, suicidal person, transported to hospital.
5:44PM, breathing problems. Coroner responded.

No names on either entry, obviously. There’s an obvious conclusion to be leaped to based on the second entry, but I would caution that there are many things that cause breathing problems.

Sounds like it was the latter.

That was my guess. The suicidal person was transported by PD, which suggests it was for psychological evaluation, not injuries. And the address seemed slightly more likely to be student/player occupied.

Good grief. What a shame. Can’t speculate or infer too much, but the kid looks sad in his picture. Condolences to his friends, family, and teammates.
