United States - 59.53 k
A country that has a policy of neutrality with a fraction of the resources, zero oil and gas, is making 33% more money.
So however much money you personally have increase it by 33% AND you live in a more representative democracy AND you aren’t killing people overseas, killing your own.
But hey continually give the leadership a pass while they spend billions on wars that accomplish nothing while the savings of the people are eroded as society continues to degrade with school/mass shootings, lack of healthcare, suicide and pretend like the leadership are “such heroes”.
Your great grand children will be broke and paranoid with that thinking
The US could take over Switzerland in a mere few hours....or completely destroy it in 30 minutes. But hey, they'd go down in flames in their morally superior isolationist stance...so maybe that'd make them feel better.

That they all have high quality exceptional healthcare
And that they live in cities like this
While we have cities like this
And the fact they live in one of the top democracies in the world allows them to sleep at night.
Switzerland isn’t paranoid about “who is going to attack them” because they don’t operate like a country trying to make enemies or treating others as enemies.
Seriously Americans need to get out of the country and meet some people in some of the countries that are actually doing well.
It’s the only way for you to realize how absolutely insane the propaganda is inside the U.S., and how much Americans are living a complete and total lie.
When you see real quality of life. Clean streets, low crime, safe neighborhoods, quality education, quality economic opportunity....

Switzerland also was complicit in the theft of many rare works of art stolen from many Jews in WW2. Those works were stored in Switzerland. What a travesty.
The only reason Switzerland can have- and has had- a peaceful and prosperous nation is because of the US.
We make the rules...and we enforce the rules. God knows we have made our share of mistakes, but the US has made it possible for many places to thrive.
I've traveled to 40 countries in all areas of the world....even multiple visits...so I certainly get out plenty (in fact, I'm in beautiful Australia this week).

Sorry Realpolitik offends you. There are actually national interests that arise outside our borders. I understand that Switzerland gets a free ride and that leadership results in mistakes. That doesn’t mean we would be prosperous and happy if we simply threw up our hands and let the chips fall to the floor.
Yes Australia is beautiful. It also hasn’t instigated major conflicts and lives... on an island.
New Zealand is also lovely and doesn’t instigate conflicts.
Afghanistan (mujahadeen), Vietnam, Iraq War I And II, Libya, Syria, Yugoslavia, etc etc.
We didn’t have to do any of that. None of it.
We could have poured the trillions into electric cars, renewable energy, our own technological development 40 years ago.
Where do you think we would be? What would America be like if all that wasted money was invested in our infrastructure, our education system, our technical advancement.
Oil? We wouldn’t need it we would have already replaced it.
School shootings, suicide rate? Probably gone because we had money to invest in our mental health services and have better economic prosperity.
Debt? Considering we wouldn’t be wasting 598 billion a year on defense we would have an extra 500 billion a year.
I want you to think what America could do if it invested half a trillion dollars in itself every single year.
In transportation, in education, in entrepreneurship and technical advancement.
To let you process that amount money that’s basically 2.5 Boeing’s at its current valuation.
