Surprised they pulled it off. It was a REALLY boring game until the last 5 minutes.

Northwestern had the ball with 30 seconds left down by only 3 and then sack/fumble for a touchdown for Stanford.

I still think they will have a down year. Their offense is not impressive at all.

Without Costello they are not good. With him, they are fine.

That was a dirty hit on Costello and targeting wasn't called. I thought the NCAA was trying to get this right.
Still too early to make a judgement on Stanford. They won over a decent team even if it was not a great showing. Let's remember that teams improve the most over the first 2 games of the year.
