The Legendary Highlight Tape = Released by Ducks

Cutting off the parking boot and failing to appear, stupidity you just can’t make up. This decision making from a senior no less. Glad he is Orygon’s problem and not ours.

What did it "tell" and how did it tell it? Are you saying Oregon went after the wrong guy?

The “tell” E.D. Is That coming off a National Championship Game appearance, Helfrich & Co were so over their ski’s, that they had to have an Internet sensation despite the fact he was an undersized kid that didn’t fit with their scheme. Kid had 16 Tackles In 3yrs Of Duck Football.

But do what you do & toss shit on WSU & Leach cause they were on him too.

Did they not want him? Why is that tossing crap on WSU. He had great acceleration and loved to hit. Oregon just didn't know how to use him. Not sure how that this is THE sign Oregon's recruiting was falling off.

Let's not pile on the kid-

I (just like most of us here, I believe) was amped on this kid before he flipped to UO at the last minute.
Yeah, it stings.

He looked just like the kind of diamond in the rough we all love.

He did some stupid shit, nobody (including us) is immune to this sort of thing.
It's the kind of thing that tends to creep up when a program goes through coaching turnover.
Maybe the coach who had an eye on him moved on, and the new guy doesn't know he needs a little extra supervision... happens all the time.

The crappy thing is since he ended up at Oregon, there's a couple 4*'s sitting in his position group, so when he does some stupid shit instead of stepping up to defend/teach him, they cut him loose.

I guess that's the real lesson to be learned here:

Dear incoming recruit,
We want you here badly!
But if you can't break into the top 22, you'd better be on your best behavior, because we're looking at this 20xx kid who we think could be the next big thing, and we may need that scholly you're sitting on.
Sincerely,
Phil... cough..ahem...
The University of Oregon coaching staff.

Edit: Also, how funny would it be if he did transfer to eastern, and gets to play us game 3!
