Colorado would probably lose to Colorado State, look at the QB stats on the Colorado vs Minnesota game, holy crap.
CSU have 54 new players on the roster. It will take them at least half the season before they know what they are doing.

D is playing well, and the O is looking more like what it should. But I’m not sure if that’s just because CSU is that bad.
Ward isn’t leaving this season unless he sees some unheard of improvement. Too much scrambling backward, throwing high/low. Seems like he’s most accurate under pressure- if nobody’s in his face he throws at the receiver’s feet.

It's a combination of CSU being PAUL WULF level BAD, AND Ward and the offense being able to get some confidence, etc, because of how bad CSU is, and leveraging that, to RELAX, have the game come to him, them, and PUT THINGS TOGETHER, etc, BOTH, ALL of those things combined together.
And Ward and offense probably can and probably will leverage and build upon this, and continue to improve, do better, do semi well, etc, vs future competition, in future games
