Treason???

When are you scheduled to testify? Post it here so we know. Maybe we can sneak in a Cougar flag on the broadcast.
You know what I don't get, if there is nothing in the report why doesn't "what Matt wants Matt Goetz" want it sent to the public. I guess innocent people would rather have suspicions and rumors spread about them. I would have thought MG would be thrilled to have the report to be made public .

Here's the other thing:

Mateer has a hell of a shot to make good money in college. I think more and more NFL teams are becoming wary of the high ceiling, super athletic kid who can't read a defense or make all the throws in as much as they may not want to use a first round pick (guaranteed money) on them. 9 out of 10 aren't panning out.

Lastly - and again - f Pat Mahomes. He's ruing a generation of kids with his stupid side arm shit. I know its not his fault per se, and more on the 7's coaches who are child worshippers and sycophants afraid to actually coach a kid to use good, proper technique for fear of losing the golden goose.

I wonder if Brink lets his (camp) kids do this shit?

FWIW - I'm not against throwing at angles just for the sake of being against it, but how about first show that you're proficient delivering the ball with a traditional motion.

One of many tough things for WSU in this current NIL/transfers dynamic is that many of our best players have been, and are likely to be, the types of guys who are highly effective in college due to training and opportunity, but aren't the elite athletes who can have some degree of confidence they'll get a shot in the NFL. (Not that the vast majority of athletes even at blue bloods should feel differently, but they have more guys who can make that call with better odds, even if they remain objectively poor.)

In other words, our best players almost always are going to be the types whose paydays, if in the offing at all, are likely to be in college, even if we leave aside the best exposure and postseason opportunities being from the transfer destination as well. WSU can't offer the big payday while in college, and that's going to be a massive headwind to recruiting and is going to lead to tons of these guys leaving for the payday. I likely would counsel my own kid to take the payday.
Car buying money = stay.

House buying money = leave.

Is it possible that both Europe and Pacific regions are important? Or just like everything else, are MAGA supporters incapable of processing more than one idea at a time?
Do you understand the concept of priorities? Advanced microchips are more important to the US economy than champagne.

And you’re obviously clueless regarding our military readiness. We quit the two theater major war model years ago. We don’t have the personnel or equipment for world police. But, yeah, let’s relive the Cold War while China is preparing to invade Taiwan and seizing territory in the South China Sea. Even your buddy Barry figured out the pivot to Asia 12 years ago.

Anyone own a Tesla?

Making fun of male insecurity doesn’t imply “worry”. Did I hit too close to home?

People with money do all sorts of crazy chit all the time.

Have you seen some of the accessorized/customized cyber trucks? They scream “look at me” for sure.

As in, “Look at me! I have so much ****ing money I can burn 🔥 it up on a hobby rig I drive on Saturday”

I couldn’t care less what people drive or why/how they spend their money.

Update: Dickert taking control over Schmedding for OSU and WYO...

This comes from a brief story taken from today's Seattle Times...

Dickert to take a bit more control over defense this weekend

As WSU’s defense struggles, permitting 28 points to Utah State in a Nov. 9 win and 38 to New Mexico in a loss last weekend, Dickert is ready to insert himself more in the team’s defensive game-planning for the Cougs’ final two regular-season games, he said. He’s staying mindful of his role as head coach and letting defensive coordinator Jeff Schmedding call the defense, but Dickert said he’s “taking a little bit of a different approach” to end the regular season.

“I’ll probably watch a few more of the iPads on the sideline so I can see exactly what’s happening,” Dickert said, “so I can give my input, ideas, all that type of stuff.”

Dickert, who came to WSU as the team’s defensive coordinator in 2020, is a defensive-minded coach. He coached the 2020 and 2021 seasons as defensive coordinator until taking over as interim head coach in 2021, then accepting the full-time job after the season.

Late last season, as the Cougars’ defense struggled under Schmedding, Dickert shared that he was asserting himself more on that side of the ball. This year, as WSU tries to find ways to limit point production and slow mobile quarterbacks like UNM’s Devon Dampier, Dickert is doing something similar.

How could a guy not leave. We are talking life changing resources.

I think they were all class action suits, but I’m not sure. Not really relevant to NFL though.
Darn. With the top 30-40 teams now able to stockpile an additional 20 players each, seems like a lot of players won’t be getting exposure. I guess they’ll have to choose between exposure and a bag.

Please show me where I said poorly conceived? In 1949 it was a wonderful idea.

The point, if you actually want your brain to function, is and continues to be that NATO and Europe are yesterday's news. The future of the United States is aligned with the Indo-Pacific. But, by all means you and your daughters can join the Ukraine International Legion and go deal with the big baddy Putin.
Wouldn't need to if we use money instead of bodies. But I get it...let a country we spent billions and many operatives defending against their aggression and nukes and let them have a sovereign territory.
