Shoveling snow on the field for the ‘92 Apple Cup l, Getting paid to watch the game from field level in exchange for what was pretty easy work, is pretty high up there.

And that’s probably the one memory that’s totally unclouded by whatever beer was cheap.

They do not. They surround themselves with non stop messaging from fox news or some random tik tok fake news that confirms their beliefs or even adds more lies to their beliefs. Yep. Stretch, once again you have no defense for anything bad Trump did/does, so you have to point to other events and say "see, XYZ was just as bad".

In other historical corrections, the Japanese "advanced" on Pearl Harbor, the Germans peacefully annexed Poland, and the Holocaust never happened. JFK was killed by the second shooter on the grassy knoll, Saddam had WMD's, etc. etc.

I’d agree with the beaver contingent that predicts more movement ahead. Somewhere in 4-6 years, as the next contracts start coming due, I think there will be another step toward the superconference. I also think it’s likely that more teams/schools will find themselves left out. Us and the Beavs were just the first.
There’s not really any meat left on the Big 12 carcass. None of them are going up. The ACC will get picked clean, and Stanford & Cal will be wandering in the woods. Assuming Miami & FSU go to the superconference, they may decide to jettison some dead weight, and odds seem good that will be newcomers that struggle - like ucla and UW. USC and Oregon probably carry enough cash and tradition to hang on. Could also be that longtime members that are regular bottom feeders get bounced - looking at you, Purdue, Mizzou, and MSU.

Hard to really tell much when viewing from the club seats. I was much closer to the action two weeks prior at the Spokane scrimmage. That said, I would say that the Cougs usually lost the "eye test" to almost all teams getting off the bus in years past. My guess is we may well look more like the best team before the kickoff against half of the teams this year. FWIW
