Worst CFB coaches

Wulff belongs there, Price doesn’t. Price should make the top 10 for one of the worst decisions of all time, hanging out with Destiny, is right up there with coaches that messed around with office assistants.
Correct. If you really break it down this was more of an Alabama problem at the time than a price problem. Their boosters were not in synch with their admin and they set him up to run him out of town. How is that on Price? Who knows how good they would have been had he actually coached there. I think it would have gone just fine for him.

Mateer's Resume is awesome, from starting at 6A Texas Highschool, since he was a freshman, to being named the BEST Texas QB, to Mateer having beat Allen Texas Highschool, to every highschool coach that has played Mateer in Texas, and in USA, all saying he was, is the best, and even opposing Highschool head coaches that not his coach, went to bat for him, helped him with his recruiting, said he was a 5 star level QB recruit, etc.

And his stats: 7000 yards passing, about 27+ passing TD's, and about 1300 to 1500 to 1650 rushing yards, and about 27+ rushing TD's, and about 53 to 55 to 57 total TD's, vs only a small handful of interception.

The last WSU QB's to have that kind of highschool stats:

Leaf, Bledsoe, etc.

Everybody that knows Mateer, or knows about Mateer knows that no other QB, highschool or college, works harder then Mateer. Mateer lives, works, eats, drinks, sleeps, football, being a QB, 24 hours a day.

Mateer is a excellent leader, knows the offense, runs the offense well, throws ok on run, throws a awesome deep ball, is mobile, etc.

This is Mateer's 3rd year at WSU. Mateer's stats at WSU is about 15 completions out of 19 attempts for 267 yards, 2 TD's, and about 25 runs for 150 yards, about 6 yards per carry, and 3 more TD's, with about a 5 TD to 1 int ratio(only 1 int)

Mateer beat out Zevi who either won, or was runner up, for the Walter Payton award, and Zevi was, is considered to have been the best FCS QB.

The only reason why Mateer and Zevi semi struggled at times, is because WSU's secondary, is pretty bloody dam fcking awesome.

Iron sharpens Iron. And both the Iron of the offense, and the Iron of the defense, have been like titans against each other, making big time plays against each other regularly.

As for the O Line the O Line is comprised of about 2 seniors, 2 reshirt Juniors, 1 redshirt sophomore. This is the most BEASTLY, BEEFY, DEEPEST, MOST EXPERIENCED, MOST DEVELOPED O LINE THAT WSU HAS HAD IN A EXTREMELY LONG TIME.

And the WR Corp of Kyle Williams, Tre Shackleford, Hutson, Meredith, Freeman, Kyle Maxwell, ARE ABSOLUTE FREAKING AWESOME STUDS, which is also great for Mateer.

And the RB Corp of Schlenbaker, Pulalasi, Wayshawn Parker, should be good enough behind that monsterly good O Line to combined with Mateer's mobility, runs, to be a NIGHTMARE for opposing defenses, because WSU's offense will truly use the whole field, etc, with runs, QB runs, passes all over field to 4,5,6 stud WR's, etc.

And the TE Corp is the best it's ever been in a extremely long time, with Senior Cooper Mathers, Junior Andre Dollar, Sophmore Trey Leckner, and they all block, run good routes, catch, etc, really well.

The only slight holes on team, is 1. LB depth. Budda is a STUD. Thornton is pretty decent, but after that, huge drop off, due to altho depth is talented, the so called depth is young, untied, etc.

And altho the Nickel, CB, Safety is a awesome secondary, there is Questionable depth at Nickel, and while one of the starting safeties is a STUD, the other is a unknown. And there is Questionable depth at the safety spot.

The CB Corp is the best it's been in a extremely long time with Hall, Jamorri Colson, Ethan Connor, Warren Smith, all 4 of them being absolute STUDS.

The defense should be able to keep games close enough, and the offense should be good enough to take advantage of the defense keeping it close enough, and should be able to help out the defense.

And to go with all that, the schedule is a good for WSU schedule.

WSU should be able to go 8-4, 7-5, at MINIMUM, with the roster, talent, etc, ON PAPER.

If WSU can't win at least 7,8 games, with the Roster it has, then it's coaching, lack of good coaching, not lack of a good Roster.

Massey, and Phil Steele, etc, and other so called experts, etc, have WSU at 10-2 at best, 9-3, 8-4 at average, 7-5 at below average, 6-6, bowl win, for 7-6 at worst.

As for other first year starters, Luke Falk, Redshirt Sophmore, 3rd year QB, Anthony Gordon, Minshew, are pretty recent examples of first year WSU starting QB's that did pretty awesome.

Remember Mateer is in his 3rd year. Other 3rd year QB's that did well are Luke Falk, Rosenbach, Bledsoe, Ryan Leaf, Gesser, Brink.
Based on week zero, I have a theory that we may see more parity with nil than less. Don’t underestimate athletes with chips on their shoulders, and don’t overestimate guys that got a bag. You’re going to see a lot of kids across the country who have a million dollars in the bank and less motivation in their hearts. And coaches who have to play them even when they are lacking drive because they paid them.

CW?

games are ota only. here's a work around
If I may point out that you don't want to underestimate the OTA broadcasts. But, I get it and I'm lazy to just go with the lineup on my HULU package. However, OTA High Definition broadcasts are some of the best quality picture broadcasts anywhere. No delays or filtering as you get with streaming where the signal has to go to data centers, internet providers, switch boxes, etc... With OTA you will get the best quality picture available anywhere for free with just an antenna.

You can count on one hand the number of times WSU has had a good season with a first-year starter. Mateer can run, at least in a straight line, and throws a nice deep ball when he’s not under pressure. But in his limited opportunities we’ve seen him throw balls that he should have eaten, and there’s no real reason to think our OL is any better than last year.
The saving grace is that we’ve got a pretty weak schedule - unfortunately almost all of the tougher games are on the road. If we’re as good as last year we should win 8-9 against this schedule. But we’re only going as far as our QB will take us.

CW?

I got the CW app on the Android Google play for free. I found it by typing CW sports app. Then I opened it. Then I clicked on the search icon, and entered "Football".

Then in the results list, there was a result link that said PAC 12, WSU, OSU Football. If click on that, a trailer video plays saying that WSU, PSU game on at noon Pacific time, 3 pm eastern time, and that CW will cover both the WSU game, OSU game live stream broadcast, on TV, etc, and that to watch it, that just watch in same place as the trailer video link, and that even tho game not available now, game will be available at the day, time, etc.

So can watch the game on CW app on a android smartphone, android tablet.

I'm going to connect my phone to my computer, and Sanyo, about 29 to 39 flat screen HDMI, etc, TV, if the game is not on Direct TV, to watch the game. And it's free, cheap, and CW says they are going to cover almost all the games, for free, cheap, etc.

In what way? Are the MWC teams trembling in fear and simply going to wave a white flag because big bad (former) P5 team WSU is coming to town?
Of course not. That's not the point. In decades past, we would have to run the table or lose only 1 game against a schedule that included a couple of top-10 and at least 4 top-20 teams.

This year, the 4 toughest teams on our schedule are Texas Tech, UW, Boise State, and Fresno State. Imagine if we were headed into these next couple of seasons with Mike Leach as our coach in year 2-3 of his program. How many games would we lose?

If you were a college freshmen and ended up with $100k NIL

Deal, what would have you done with the money?

Use an inflation calculator to keep it consistent.

A client once told me he spent half his money on wine, women, and song. Claims he wasted the other half.

I don't expect that it will happen either, but the irony with all of this realignment drama is that WSU's path to the college football playoff is easier today than it's ever been.

Kamla's parents were immigrants. So what? Everyone in this country is an immigrant except Native Americans.
Her parents were divorced when she was 8. She was raised by her mother.
Her father retired as a Professor Emeritus at Stanford.
Her parents were highly educated. Is that a bad thing?
So what if she got help in her career from a boyfriend - 30 years ago.
That's all I have for now.

Edit - Kamala passed the bar on her 2nd try. First time Bar passing rates hover around 60%. Took me three tries to pass all 4 parts of the CPA exam. 2 the first try, 1 the second try, last one the third try. So what?
Clearly you aren’t fit for office Ed. Now, if you’d F’d a porn star while your prostitute wife was pregnant with your 5th child from your 3rd wife…THEN, we might have a conversation.

No talk about the upcoming season on the board? Sounds like many would rather be on Gilligan's Island.

Any thoughts, predictions on the upcoming season? For me there are so many unknowns, weird schedule, not sure what to expect from this team, the QB situation could be shaky at best. I fear a long season.
Supply and demand. It's simple. No one is radically excited, thus no demand.

Up to 11 posts today. Your keyboard must be burning up.
Related, I got a nice postcard from Kamala today. complete with a picture of her. Think I'll tape it to my windshield. She's a hottie for a 59-year-old.

And to Ed: I'm sorry that you and most WSU students of our era got STD's. My motto? No glove, no love. And of course all of my many, many grateful female participants have been sweet pure pristine examples of womanhood. Except for a few skanks along the way. :)

Loyal... wasnt me but some good ole local boys😉

Had a look at the depth chart and its concerning to say the least.

4 freshmen recruits under 5'10" AND under 180 lbs, mainly in the WR corp. Our tallest FR WR is 6'1", there's a 6'0" and a 5'11".

Whether you want it or not, the G5 is already upon us. The roster will continue to get smaller as we continue to get outclassed by not only our former conference associates but our new conference associates as well.

CJD seems to be a decent person, but I fear that hanging his hat on this team/ school will be career suicide if he has any aspirations of being a P4 head coach.

Worst CFB coaches

The USC game where Pete had them take a knee in the first half up 35-0 in at least FG range is permanently etched in my memory. I was there. I lost my innocence that day.
I lost my lunch that day.

I'd seen many times before that when WSU was beaten on the field - even badly beaten. The 51-3 Apple Cup blowout in 2000, for example.

That USC game was the first time I felt that they were truly embarrassed. I'd never seen a team that was trying not to score still do it so consistently. Taking a knee was the only way Pete could keep his guys out of the endzone.

CW?

CBS and Warner Bros. merger some time ago. Known as The CW.

For Phoenix greater metro, (Scottsdale)....Dish Channel 07 KAZT.....
What's interesting is you don't need an OTA antenna. If you have DISH, you'll get CW Sports. Not sure about DirecTV, Comcast, Cox, Spectrum, etc, etc.

DISH has a Gamefinder channel, so it was easy to find the channel. Bing it, I mean Google it.🌵
I get the CW on my horribly expensive Spectrum package.
