And the Cover Up has started

Did everyone see the excuse given by Biden's DEI Secret Service Director hire came up with? She said they didn't have someone up on that roof because it was a sloped roof. You dumb f'ing c*nt!!! Are you REALLY that stupid? Why were there snipers on the sloping roof of another building then, given that the other building's slope was even steeper? The slope appears to be about 3/12, maybe even 2/12, and that is nothing. Heck, my roof is 6/12 and I was up on it in my late 60's, so I am pretty sure a SS sniper in top shape could handle getting up there.

I know I said I was going to wait until we knew a lot more assigning blame, and I will do that, but this woman's response has been absolute bullshit. Why does she still have a job today? Because in the Biden administration there is never, EVER any consequence for incompetence!

Ann McCoy playing the long game

Upbeat interview on Brand X with the Pac-2's newest AD:

"So I just implore you to please continue to be patient, have faith, and continue to know that while there may not be things that we're talking publicly about right now, there are a lot of amazing things going on behind the scenes … with Washington State University, with Oregon State University, and certainly our new commissioner of the Pac-12, Teresa Gould. Just because we're not talking about a lot of things publicly right now doesn't mean there's not a lot happening," she said.

Ann also had an interesting analogy about her and Dr. Schultz and their efforts to return WSU back to the Power Conference ranks:

"It's the quote about fate and the warrior," she said. "'Fate whispered to the warrior that you cannot withstand the storm. And the warrior turning back and saying, I am the storm.' And I think we need to remember that right now — Cougar Athletics, we are the storm. We're not worried about fate … I really encourage everyone to have that mentality and that mindset. Because we need you more than ever."

A key addition for the Cougs today as 2025 offensive lineman Brayden Walton has announced his commitment to Washington State. The massive 6-foot-7, 315-pound tackle recruit from Buchanan HS in Clovis, California visited Pullman last month for an official visit and also took an official trip to Colorado State before deciding. Fresno State, Nevada and Central Michigan were some of the other programs that offered.

He is now the 17th commitment for Jake Dickert's program in the cycle.

Caitlin Clark - I was wrong

Remember when the Mighty Loyal One opined that Caitlin Clark should stay in school for another year? NIL money-wise, etc. Well, in a rare occurrence, I was WRONG! Caitlin is making millions off of her State Farm, Gatorade, etc. agreements. She of course is doing great in her rookie year. The attendance stats are incredible.

Per the link below (scroll down to see the breakout), the Fever as of June 30 have averaged 16,757 fans, up from 4,067(!) last year. Away game attendance? Fever average 15,333 fans, 5,000 more than any other team.

Watched today's game at the Minnesota Lynx, whose high water attendance this year is 8,769. Today? 18,978, a sellout and all-time record. It was basically a home game for the Fever, who won despite a shitty game for Caitlin. Lynx had 7,500 and 7,600 in their last 2 home games. Amazing.

You guys have to watch these games. Not only do we have some smoking hot young ladies running up and down the court (Lexie Hull of the Fever - wow!), but the fan shots - serious good-looking women of all ages in attendance. And some seriously good and rough BB.

Galanopoulos Added to Complete Men’s Basketball Staff

"George Galanopoulos was named an assistant coach for the Washington State men's basketball team, WSU Head Coach David Riley announced Monday. Galanopoulos arrives to Pullman as the final piece of the Cougar coaching staff, bringing a decade of NBA and international basketball experience with him."

He appears to be a gym rat. He also looks to have international connections from Africa. Maybe this opens back up the African pipeline we had during the Smith years.

Small world.....kind of

I was helping a friend move some stuff to day and got reminded that our world is smaller than we think sometimes. Another friend and his son were helping with the move and that friend's son brought his new girlfriend who was from Ontario, California. Turns out that both of her parents were Wazzu grads from the late 90's. I didn't know them but it's funny how even remote connections can show up in life.

Wish Mark Twain could have been a Coug

He said a lot of things that would have fit right in on this site. And the bots seem to be slower over here. If we can keep the insulting and hateful posting up, we might stay ahead of them.
