I’ve been a diehard Coug fan since the late 1970s, but all of the corporatization, NIL, and realignment has finally beaten me down. I walked out of the stadium tonight not caring about the loss. I think I’ve reached the end of the line.

It almost seems like this is two different seasons. A completely different team before the bye week.
I’m still holding hope that we win three more games.

This week we recap the painful, embarrassing, and lopsided loss to Arizona, while our unranked COUGS head to # 8 Oregon on Saturday.

After watching what looked like girl scouts trying to play football last Saturday, I find myself being extremely apathetic towards the program. How could our team fold like that? What happened to the fire these guys were playing with prior to the bye week? It feels like we are going to lose every game from here on out. Not just lose, but get the doors blown off type losing. Anyone else feeling the massive the gut punch from Saturday? I don't want to give up on these guys but when we play like that, it seems like they've given up on themselves.

This would be the greatest season ever if we beat Whoregon and Fuw.

I can tell you it'd be an even better taste after the embarrassing game against Arizona.

All these analysts miss the main point of Coach Smith. He likes to have two Guards on the floor that can handle the ball and that can score. He recruits not pure PG's but combo guards who can get the ball up the court.

Appears currently that is Yesufu and Rice.

Arizona, with their freshman QB, is pretty good. They took USC to the wire.

Oregon will be good.

Then after that, things soften up a bit if we can execute offensively.

Huskies, barring injury, are going to be tough.

Might be entertaining to see NFL guys absolutely dominate this. Likely could be college athletes too.

Does anyone possibly have any interest in actually going to this game? I have never been to watch us play there and feel like it would be a wasted opportunity to not go. This could be a day trip as the game starts @ noon. Traveling from Western WA of course.
