Outstanding WSU Preview by Bill Connelly

Of particular note is the chart showing WSU's F+ progression over the past 10 years. If interested, you can check it out here. That's of particular relevance to the recent (and ubiquitous) Leach / Wulff discussions. Other than the 2013 season, last year's 3-9 squad was the best team since 2007. Comparisons of the performance--let alone the talent level--of the team right now to Wulff's squads are simplistic at best and laughable at worst.

Part of CML's tree

Lincoln Riley. A great, detailed article. While it mentions CML slightly, it's obviously about Lincoln.

Very cool. Small town boy makes it big.

My favorite quote: "Winning football is good for church." If that isn't an indication of mid-west, I don't know what is.

Just another coach that falls under CML's coaching tree. CML has truly affected all of football. And he's our coach. I'm proud of that.

Gonzaga

This game will be a major opportunity to put the cougs on the basketball map. Last year ,people were gripping about the 2-1 schedule for Gonzaga. I was elated as i thought that the cougs being able to host the zags in year two of Kent's contract was a fantastic opportunity.I believe that the cougs will spring an upset over the highly rated zags. Then maybe the scheduling contracts will be more equal if they renew the rivalry for possible future games.

Go get 'em, Wulffhawks!

An impressive 30-6 win over traditional world powerhouse Mexico has them at 1-0 in the World Football Championships, although his hardest coaching duty must have been cutting Zack Williams, as he didn't make it through Team USA camp, evidently- still a big star, though. Japan/USA tomorrow- can I find "Japan and the points" anywhere?
