Well, it's all Mike's fault...

One day last week, based purely on curiosity, I decided to watch a couple of episodes of "Gunsmoke". Never really watched it before, especially growing up as a child. I can't believe how good this show is. Now, I'm seriously hooked, and have to watch an hour a day, while I look forward to each new recorded episode each night. Pretty cool stuff. Said to be the longest running prime time TV show in Amercia, from 1955-1975, with 635 espisodes. I've got 631 to go. It's all Mike's fault.

*** WR Grant Porter pledges Wazzu ***

Washington State has landed a verbal commitment from Upland (Calif.) WR Grant Porter, a three-star receiver listed at 6-foot-2, 184-pounds, who picked Washington State over offers from Boise State, Colorado State, Kansas, San Diego State, San Jose State and Utah.

He's the fourth prospect to verbal to Washington State over the last year-plus, joining late addition Jeff Farrar in the 2014 class and 2015 signees Tyler Hilinski and Kameron Powell.

A 6-3, 320-pound 5-star d-lineman to WSU?

Michigan has given Ondre Pipkins a release and permission to talk to WSU and several other schools about a transfer. Pipkins says Harbaugh and staff pressured him to sign a medical form bringing about his retirement from football, due to injuries he's had at Michigan (torn ACL, concussion). He refused to sign and, thus, seeks a transfer.

A new d-lineman for WSU?

Brand x has a short about the possibility of Michigan DT Ondre Pipkins transferring to WSU. He says Harbaugh and staff pressured him to leave. As such, Michigan has granted him a release from his schollie. I guess he'll have only one year of eligibility, but the guy is a load (6-3, 320, a former 5-star recruit). Has some injury history, however - hence, the Michigan staff's attempts to get him to retire to free up a schollie. But he feels healthy enough to play, he says.
