Yes, I think this adds intrigue to the season. It could be that the best teams show up without their best players week in and out. Anyone’s games even more so.

General covid social compliance seems to be better in the west than in the south and midwest. The southern half of the west is also warmer, so the winter imperative to stay indoors and spread the disease in close quarters is less. That doesn't make it zero, but every little bit helps.
Spain, the only thing dumber than shutting it all down is proceeding with no precautions. Both are pretty stupid. As with most things in life, we do the best we can with the situation. The crime is not doing the best we can. Running our businesses would be a lot easier if everyone did that.
