Wait, what? Kamala Harris dated Willie Brown 30 years ago. They apparently dated for a year or two and split before he became mayor of San Francisco in 1996. And Ed is a curious fellow for not knowing this? The real question is, why the F do you know this, Gibby? You were what, fresh out of college about then? And so what if Brown did her political favors 20 or 30 years ago, after they broke up? I'm still a reference for a couple of old GF's who I have remained friendly to.
I had never heard of Kamala Harris until Biden picked her as his VP (kinda like McCain picking Sarah (who?) Palin back in 2008). I had never heard of Willie Brown, now 90, until this thread. And why the hell would I know of a short-term dating relationship of two people from California 30 years ago? Or give a shit about it then or now?
And what exactly does this have to do with the 2024 Presidential election? This thread has gone from off the rails to bizarre. Time to change the title again, which I can since it was my abomination to begin with.

Even more bizarre, considering the supposed focus of this board, is that this thread has more pages, more views, and more posts than I think any football thread ever has.
There were some long ones dedicated to the Brink/Swogger and Brink/Rogers debates, and then to the fire Wulff/keep Wulff debates. And, all of those inspired a lot of separate threads….but I don’t think any ever went as long as this in a single thread.
Maybe we should just accept what’s happened and not bother calling it a football board.

Oh brother. I pulled an article that listed the oldest members of Congress. She was listed. Obviously an old list. I forgot that she had died last September. So what. But yes, that little memory slip completely outweighs the point I was making, and is a critical component of this current ridiculous debate.
As I watch this 16 page behemoth of hubris and insanity continue to grow beyond any bounds of reasonable discussion, I imagine Loyal at his tv tray with his hungryman dinner and Schlitz, feet propped up and smiling to himself with the pride of a father who's just found out his son finally nailed the pretty cousin in the family.

Hey I didn't ask for 10,000 views. That's why a started a new thread although I see it has topped 2,000 views. Still behind my Hunter Biden thread last month that got 3,000 views. I don't have nearly the number of posts in any of these threads as some of you yahoos who are providing the hubris and insanity. But yeah I guess I am a little proud. I do notice that any thread I start that actually discusses the Cougs gets almost no traction. I'll try again. Or why don't you, Bleed?

Why would I forget? I am not married to the party of the moral majority, home of Becky Falwell. I didn't support the impeachment of a prez over oral sex. Do I care if he banged a porn star? Nope. My father in law and I made impressions on each other the first time I went to a BBQ at his house. He asked if I wanted a beer and then directed me to a cooler. I opened it and found a bunch of Coors light. I pawed at it a bit, and he ends up saying there should be some cold ones right on top. So I had to tell him - no, there’s only Coors light on top, looks like you’re out of beer.
Took him a second to get it. He’s never offered me a beer again. Still makes my burger the way I like it, though.

I had not read that. This would be a wonderful thing, I'm all for it and posted that exact idea a few days ago. Biden is stupid if he doesn't take Trump up on this - let's get it out there once and for all. I agree that Biden is highly unlikely to accept. It would be risky, as I read that there are limitations to results of various tests and they can be misconstrued, but what choice does he have at this point?
