The NFL will never create a developmental league. They have a free farm system. If they do anything it will be to change the requirements on when kids are eligible for the league. It’s not often someone could go to the NFL as an 18 year old but if happens. Najee Harris could have gone straight to the league for example.

Let's go to PPP money. A friend of mine got 9 mil in PPP money, didn't have to pay it back and his industry had a record year. A client of mine from Spokane racked up 50k in credit card debt, got PPP and paid off his credit card debt and put 50k down on a house.
I can go on and on. Meanwhile, my daughter both got internships for the summer. My oldest does and didn't have to work while in college. Her college is completely funded. She wanted to pay her own rent of 800.00 per month. I told her to stop, I am taking care of it. She started crying and said what's the deal, I feel good about paying for my own stuff.
So I am not sure "this generation" is the true problem. I think the bigger problem are the people who claim they are capitalist but have zero problem having the feds bail them out year after year of making bad decisions.

Nope did Spokane county change their election procedures . Peter Navarro came right out and said it and called it the Green Bay Sweep. Democracy does when the votes can’t be trusted and you put people in position to count and certify the elections that belief trunp won and their was voter fraud .
Do you have a shred of proof that Fulton county or Mari ops county were rigged ? Cynthia Powell when sued said she didn’t expect anyone to believe her fantasy story. Guiliani when question under oath said he read these things on the internet and didn’t feel it was important to do any amount of investigation .

Yeah, we’re way behind the curve here in WA. We need to be able to arrest and convict election board members if the election doesn’t go the “right” way. We need the the leg. to be able to decide how the election reallly went.
Whether there are attempts to change elections rules are irrelevant. Regularly scheduled elections have continued in both those jurisdictions, have they not?

Democracy has continued to be alive and well in the United Sates despite what those who make hyperbolic claims are doubling down on. Nothing's changed based on a couple hundred extremists. Every single jurisdiction in this country has held elections since 1/6/21. It's a false claim to say democracy has died or is at any risk of dying in the United States.
I don't see a whole lot of people in the room rushing to VP Harris' defense either. They too can see nothing's changed. It's a not-too-bright politician spouting nonsense and making comparisons that dishonor those who lost their lives in two monumental dates in American history.

Trump tried to get Mike Pence to not certify the election results, as was Mike Pence's, and other's job. Trump's fiery extreme Rhetoric convinced the more crazy, extreme part of the Repubs to as a UNARMED MOB, do the Jan 6 capital riots, that did threaten, try to force Mike Pence to overturn the election.
That was extremely bad, serious. And stupid Repubs still wrongly defend January 6, and still stupidly allow Trump to lead the Repub party, when it is Ben Carson, Ron De Santis, Marc Rubio, Ted Cruz, etc, that should be presidential candidate, leading Repub party.
There is a precedent in USA, that if a president loses reelection, they are done, finished, they dont get to run for reelection after they lose reelection, after the other party's candidate becomes president, and after that president's term ends, runs for reelection.
And the ex president doesn't get to continue to lead the Party. After they fail to win their reelection bid, THEY ARE DONE.
That's the way it's always been. Trump should not run for reelection after Biden's first term, and should not lead the Repub party. He should be done, like all the presidents before him.

I guess the simple question is if you think 1/6/21 was just a blip on the screen ... a "one off", or perhaps a sign of things to come.
The answer to that question corresponds in proportion to someone who thinks our democracy (if not in trouble) sustained a lasting wound that has left a mark. Do you think it sustained a "wound"?
