Yup. They can’t hold their block on the delay shit. Quick hitters should go for 5 yards+ with a 5 man box regardless of how shitty your oline run blocks. You can fall down and get in the way and a decent back should still get 5 yards.
Also, Dickert should have called timeout once Oregon hit the redzone to give us more time.

With no running game, they have to do something to keep the defense from just teeing off.
Oregon is largely rushing 3, so some design delay runs should work, we just need to get them Going downhill faster. Design runs by Ward should also be there. Through the air, the middle has been there but we need to diversify - 18 completions to 4 receivers, but 10 of those are to Victor and 5 more to Kelly. If they take away Victor, we’re in trouble.

You mean a runout. The way the last couple of UO drives went, they will likely just stuff it down our throats the whole second half.

we completely lack a scramble drill. what's it going to take for CW to put his foot in the ground and get positive yards?
We also lack any sort of D1 speed at the skill positions. WRs can't create space, rbs can't outrun or elude anyone. It's really becoming evident against the better teams.

When we’re behind, he’s like a kid on my sons flag football team. Looks for the long TD throw on every down. Even if the D backs off 10 yards, he won’t take the open receiver underneath.
It was a good game. We’re just outgunned. They’re better up front and way more explosive.
Back to the air raid where meaningless yards take center stage. Objective of the game is to score points. Yards don’t mean shit and don’t tell me cam had a great game if we score 19 points.
