First off, congrats to CMU for their win. They came to play and did what they needed to do.
But IMHO, if both teams had no injuries and no opt outs, the Cougs win this going away.
Little to no running game vs having Max and Deon with a solid O-line
Missing Watson on the corner. Cougs win by 17 or more points.
CMU were missing two O-linemen but they are not in the same class as Lucas.
Overall not an unexpected result but the biggest thing was the "no quit" attitude when it looked like a blowout. Make no mistake, CMU was worried in the 4th.

I know he took some hits but I didn’t see where he was limping and took a hit to his lower leg. Maybe he sprained in practice and planted abs hurt it further .
Yea. He was still wearing the knee brace, so it’s probably something he’s played through all season. With the way the blocking looked in the 1st half, the coaches may have tapped him out.
