Seattle is dead

Interesting coming from you… would I prefer they go to a private beach or some dudes farm in eastern wa, sure I would . But like I said this is a once a year event that has gone on for 30 years that hadn’t had a complaint or public complaint in that time .

I guess for me it is all about perspective . We have had gay priests fondling youth, sent to another parish . Paterno had a coach who liked boys, nothing ever done

In 2022 270 cases of teacher sexual misconduct and this one incident is what we gravitate to .
I prefer they go to Enumclaw and get horse dicks in their butts. As far as Penn State, Sandusky is in prison - hopefully getting raped every day. F-ing priests, who Gonzaga protected, disgust me. One of the reasons I think the Catholic faith is complete bullshit.

I'm just sick of all this Pride shit. And hell, I have a gay son. But he doesn't parade around naked in front of kids.

Just keep your sexual life to yourself. What's so hard about that? And these trans women who have boobs and still have dicks. I mean WTF? That's just wrong. But whatever. Just go about your business and leave the rest of us the F out of it. You never see me boasting with "Pride" about the many women I've - ahem - known.

I prefer they go to Enumclaw and get horse dicks in their butts

Loyal, sounds you and your family have taken it better and with far less cynicism or bitterness than one my wife's former co-workers.

When her son announced he was a homosexual, her husband cut off all contact and the kid was like 20 years old. Tough deal for that whole family.

Odd thing was my niece was in the same graduating class with the boy and said everyone at the school knew he was that way

Well you grading on a curve? I know who can tell. A doc friend of mine who has seen wounds from an AR and knows the difference.

I would suspect the difference between a pistol and an AR 15 is akin to someone who is smarmy and someone who is a total douchebag.

👏 👏
That's for knowing someone who knows the difference between the wounds. That's impressive Ed!

And can get a hand clap for knowing how to spell the first name in AR 15. Matter fact, I know how to spell rifle as well … what does that A stand for again …

...but you still don't know what a woman is. Lol. 😀
Oh “How Did this happen to me “…..that is one way to look at it… another way is live up to your commitments and you would have received an answer .

But I am gonna let you in on a small secret… since you are a Good God Fearing man. Even God at birth has left some parents needing to assign a sex to the child because of an imperfection .

Uhhh...no.

I understand that for some, being able to define a woman is difficult. They seem to live in certain area codes like the ones in Seattle. Affluent, white, college-educated, emotional, secular, over-sensitive...

Hmmmm… over sensitive ? Been saddled with many adjectives , never that one .Emotional? Yeah, when it comes to my kids . I am truly honored to be their father . So yeah they hit an emotional nerve.

What you fail to understand my opinions and personality weren’t formed by my time in Seattle . I took pieces from Illinois , Ohio, New York, West Virginia , Maryland, Oklahoma and even Indiana . So a little short on that one ?

Sorry” How Did this Happen to Me”… I didn’t realize you were just a football fan and you are not college educated. Yes I feel very fortunate for my college education and the time I spent in Pullman .

Bad assumption Ed.

You conform to pop culture. That's many people, so you aren't alone. Whatever pop culture pushes for values, you follow it. It takes some courage to think for yourself and go against the mob (pop culture).

If I may follow your logic...you are not college educated, but you like the Cougs and follow them so you have that going for you. You live in a rural area, you don't make a great deal of money and you are a Christian. Understood.

I've got to ask....How do you feel about the man and woman in St. Louis who were brandishing a pistol and an AR-15 at protestors walking by in the street?
Those people were within their rights to have the guns, and were completely out of line in the way they used them.

I didn’t see any indication that the protesters ever set foot on their property. They were on the street in front of it. Whether they tore down the community gate to get on that street is not relevant. If they made verbal threats, that’s also not relevant. I’m not aware of any jurisdiction whether verbal threats from 50 feet away would allow you to point a gun (which they did - she did so awkwardly enough that I wonder if she’s ever held a gun before).
I would argue that if anything, they put themselves in harm’s way by standing out in the middle of their yard, and invited retaliation by pointing weapons (while standing in a group so that one shotgun blast could handle both of them). If they’d stood on their porch with their guns at their sides….fine. Going toward the protestors with guns raised was asking for trouble, and I think the charges they pleaded to were pretty lenient.

How do you feel about a man standing outside his business in Minneapolis with an AR-15 while protestors are walking by?

Wait a minute - How did this happen isn't even a Coug? And a Christian? Sure wouldn't know it from all his f-ing insulting posts. Not what my church taught.

Yeah that was pretty crazy. My memory is hazy on this. I can see them being freaked out, but sitting on your porch with guns at your side would have done the job.

Refresh my memory - weren't the peaceful protestors in St. Louis doing peaceful damage to the couple's peaceful property and left their peaceful protest to do so?

“The peaceful protesters were not the subject of scorn or disdain by the McCloskeys,” their attorney, Albert S. Watkins, said in a statement to CNN. “To the contrary, they were expecting and supportive of the message of the protesters. The actions of violence, destruction of property and acts of threatening aggression by a few individuals commingling with the peaceful protesters, gave rise to trepidation and fear of imminent and grave.”

I don't see that the protesters set foot on their property. The couple escalated the whole thing by waving guns at the group.

Not agreeing or disagreeing with your post 0-11, but I'm not sure a statement to the media from a defendant's lawyer "proves" much of anything 🤷‍♂️

The protestors destroyed a gate and entered private property. Obviously they could have stayed on the street and went around, so it begs the question of their intentions for doing those actions.

Whatever you saw was obviously edited to portray the couple in a specific light. While I don't condone them aiming their weapons at anyone, they 100% had the right to present themselves as an armed presence to protect their property, and in doing so may have actually saved lives.

THE PROTESTORS BROKE THROUGH A GATE TO A PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD, THEY WERENT ON PUBLIC PROPERTY.

HOPE THAT HELPS, BUT PROBABLY NOT SINCE YOUVE ALREADY MADE UP YOUR MIND.
Chill out Karen. All I was saying is that they could have sat on their porch with their guns at their sides and that would have done the job. Oh and maybe called the cops. The protesters were going to the Mayor's house, not theirs. Going out on the lawn and pointing a gun at the protesters was not cool.

The protesters never set foot on the couple's actual property. They were in a "private street" but you can rest assured that didn't empower the wife in particular to be pointing a gun at people.

Before all of this stuff became politicized and toxic, my mother-in-law's roommate brandished a 22 revolver at his neighbors in Salina, Kansas because they were shooting fireworks off on 4th of July and the remains of the fireworks were falling on my mother-in-law's house. That roommate was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and spent the weekend in jail. He ended up plea bargaining down to a lesser charge but there was never any suggestion that he had the right to threaten his neighbors with a gun despite the fact that they were presenting actual risk to his house.

Today's political climate is ridiculous.

The proof is they don't have a conviction for a crime on their record.

Yeah, my comment was directed toward the tendency of lawyers/PR reps to "paint the prettiest picture possible" of any particular situation (no insult to you or anyone here who might make a living in either of those professions)

These folks lived in a gated community ? Never would have known.

But good to know cause if some Seventh Day Adventist , a Mormon or even a Christian spreading the word good to know I have recourse . What’s the best pistol I can wave at them to make sure they understand not to come on or near my property again ?

Geezus you're stupid.

Honestly and truly, did your brain actually come up with that as a logical response or are you purposely being daft because you think it's clever or charming?

Neither . I take it you don’t have a recommendation. Noted .

Now you're a liar too.
Lying about not owning a gun and not knowing what to buy in case I have an unwanted 7th day Adventist come on my property ? I shot a BB gun when I was 9 . Last time but I hear I need to gun up . More guns reduces crime I hear .

Did I say they were innocent?

Learn the art of language.

Nice throwback to the early 90’s with that scathing “pop off” retort. Did you write that post in your members only jacket and parachute pants?

Holy shit, I needed that laugh.

Thanks

11… don’t knock it . Style comes and goes . Someday you will see those pants again. While my house is being remodeled the condo I am staying in has Mike Brady’s mauve and blue toilets . Butt ugly but apparently they are coming back in .
