Yeah....so I think about Jason a lot, where he is, where he's landed, and has he completely recovered financially. What about his family? As we said before, in time it could heal. Look at Ryan Leaf. I hope he can come clean and people can forgive. He sure had a good job, and great career path. Often felt sorry for him, but we all make mistakes and learn from them. We're not exempt, or any better than Jason.
Hope he finds a solid career, still has his wife, family, and recovers from the setback.
His wife got hired as head volleyball coach at a high school near Vancouver. Saw pictures of him at a Blazers game on Facebook.
Heard from what I consider a reliable source that they moved late spring/early summer, and that she was trying to keep the family together. Personally I think he’s lucky for that, I don’t think I could do the same in her shoes.

Not sure if I'll ever be able to fully embrace JG again. His mea culpa was horrible, labeling his behavior as a misunderstanding.
I'm not saying he can't change and become a better person, but he's going to have to try harder and come clean on the other incidents and make appropriate apologies for that as well.

I am sure that most of us gave Ryan Leaf the benefit of the doubt and wished him well after his first opioid incident but after he continued to make things worse then we washed our hands of him. I know that I did. I had given up hope for Leaf. Eventually he got his act together and we welcomed him back into the Cougar family. The same could occur with Jason and I hope that it does but it will take time.
I do not feel sorry for Jason. He created his own mess and will have to deal with it. I do feel sorry for his family. Jason suffered a major dent in his employment opportunities. His wife suffered a severe hit to her marriage and offspring. Family is more important than job opportunities.

Personally I don't feel sorry for Gesser but at the same time he doesn't owe me a **** thing. I definitely feel for the victims and his family. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to regain some semblance of trust within his marriage and family. In comparison it probably makes Andy's Shawshank prison break feel like a nice walk in the park.
