***WSU @ Oregon GAME THREAD***

If pattern holds, that was the bad half for the D and we should see some stuff in the second half.

Yes.

Too scramble brained watching this game right now. Not even drinking.

Hell. I'm drinking and....I'm good. What is it going to take to win this game?? Call it now. I say..WSU being pretty effective running the ball in addition to what they're doing now and uo being more effective throwing the ball in order for them to win.

I'd like to see some sacks. put these backups on their butts a few times, preferrably while they're still holding the ball. also taliulu needs to be reminded bump ball isn't working. tackle or sit down and put in someone who uses their arms.

1st half analysis - DW can stick to blocking until he decides he WANTS to catch balls that hit him in the hands.

D was great playing the offense they had planned for. Threw them a curve and they look undisciplined again. WRAP UP. 2nd half adjustment will be crucial.

It isn't possible for me to be any more irate at the fact that we can't field a ST unit worth their salt. It is humiliating, and they should be ashamed at the product they put on the field. It's an abomination that apparently a coaching change can't fix, so Leach needs to look in the mirror and figure it out.

Falk looks great. I'd like him to take a few more shots downfield, but he is checking down incredibly well.

Running game is ok and they seem to be finding their groove.

WR are blocking like champs.

Zebras manage to swallow their whistles whenever ducks have the ball - some of the worst golding I've seen this year. Oh, and that should have been a targeting call.

There have been a lot of good things and some not good things, but it's not bad by any means.

Defense is getting gashed but they find a way to hold which is great.

The punting is a little yuck but it looks to be getting better.

Offensively Falk still is a little slow, but it's clear he's speeding things up which is great. Still too many sacks, but I've noticed him playing quicker.

Dom Williams please catch the ball.

Harrington has been great except for that costly fumble. He's just a freshmen and has been going above and beyond. It's basically the only mistake I've seen him make this year. He's a great player just good play by their defense.

Marks is doing great as always. I hope he doesn't leave, but wow he's just so consistent.

Priester has shown that spark we have heard about in camp. I like his future a lot.

Nothing is bad. Just a young team with some minor setbacks at times, but is fighting through to do some really great things. That last drive was great.

Yes, would like to see him land a 40 yard plus completion. Also, not much holding called after the first quarter of the game.

td Cougs! time for the refs to equalize the score

For someone who's lived in Oregon for quite a while.......I'm really enjoying this.. The rain on the camera...the quietness of Autzen and the play of the defense.......Awesome!

I don't want to sound like a complete puss - God knows I celebrated every bone-crushing hit Deone made - but "big hits" are really the basest, most knuckle-dragging part of football which are unfortunately the part of the game the crowd is most interested in. People are going bananas every time Charles Nelson blasts a receiver - meanwhile we're hoping our guy will continue to play football and live a normal life in about 10 years.

That was the most embarrassing effing run I've seen us give up in... probably only a couple of weeks unfortunately. Effing joke. Time for one of the big hits I was just railing against - keep that guy in the pocket.

Those hits could easily change the course of a game...don't underestimate it.

Oregon has two plays.
1- pitch / handoff to Freeman
2- QB draw
Let's see what adjustments the Cougar Defense makes.
I know it's hard, but please make a decision Luke.

No...he needs more time. 10 seconds in the pocket isn't long enough.
Cougs are playing well and deserve the lead but why do something to get the other team back in it.
3 sacks???
Now a big run by Oregon.
Game may have turned.

Our team likes to play from behind. That is a problem.

Maybe it's more like we are more comfortable playing from behind.

More importantly, they could change the course of someone's life.

One of Georgia's cupcake opponents (Georgia Southern) came into Athens earlier this year and got his spinal cord severed. He's in a hospital in Atlanta and can't move his extremities. He'll likely never live a normal life.

It was on a kick return and it was a totally awesome, bone-crushing hit.

So far I haven't seen us get away with anything, but I've seen Oregon get away with murder - scores of uncalled holding and now a scoring play which is very clearly wrong and nets Oregon 7 points and the lead.

Is it just like WSU is historically a bad team and so we need to keep the Oregon/Autzen train rolling? Are we the Washington Generals of the P12?

Hey listen, we're talking about most college plays ..not these life altering plays....so please...maybe you and I should never talk.

Absolutely hosed by the refs for a second straight year vs. UO. Even announcers said that PI should have been called. Freeman was clearly over the line of scrimmage.

That rubbish call that gave Oregon 7 points and the lead has completely changed the momentum of the game.

Hey, you f---ing terrible P12 refs: remember when you screwed us in Pullman last year? Time to pay the piper.

Not to mention on the Cougars last drive on 3rd down, the DB arrived early on Cracraft. That should have been a penalty as well.
