2025 Schedule finalized

Agree completely, but unfortunately I see us losing to Oregon State or New Mexico.
Uhh, I watched the WYO at New Mexico game yesterday. Both are bad. I mean, really bad. Zero defense, and both teams looked liked FCS level, especially The Lobos. University Stadium looked 70% empty.

If we happen to lose one game, it would at Oregon State, not necessarily a Trap Game, but a game the Beavers might want more then us, as we would be going into Corvallis 9-1.

2025 Schedule finalized

In crayon -- Having something to play for, like the playoffs, trumps a regular P-12 game or slate. We are in a position to make a playoff run regularly now, yeah against and on the backs of lesser opponents. Had the P-12 continued, the same could not be said. 2018 being the sole highlight in the post Price era. Our lone potentially playoff calibre team. Nothing oozed excitement more than a 5-5 Coug team playing 4-6 Stanford team in November, which was the norm under Leach. A 10-1 Coug team going into the Wyoming game, that is an event and a national story, even though Wyoming ain't remotely an exciting opponent, and even if we get shut out of the playoffs ultimately.

If you expect fans to care even more with new conference foes, I think you're the one wearing the rose colored glasses.

Very difficult to root for Fusc

Real hot I would think. Terrible job of coaching, as outlined in a couple of post-game articles.

Couple of others perhaps. FSU is now 1-8. How does that happen after going 13-1? Yeah I know our Cougs went 3-8 in 1998, but our team was decimated with graduations. And Oklahoma State. 0-6 in the Big-12, after being one of the preseason favorites? May be time for Gundy and his mullet to step down. Utah is struggling as well (haha assholes - the P-12 breakup was your fault).
FSU might become the next Nebraska. Dominant blue blood for years then fall off the map.

Very difficult to root for Fusc

Rather puzzling why a team that is so LOADED with talent has now lost 5 games in which they had the lead in the 4th quarter. Very disapointing to see the Trojans break and piss away the game vs the uw. They had 6 or 7 drives into husky territiory (2 or 3 that STARTED in husky territory) that got them 0 points. Pathetic.

Key data points that explain:
1. 3 turnovers for usc, none for uw.
2. First and goal from the 4 yard line and gain nothing on 4 tries.
3. First down at uw 14 yard line in last minute, essentially first and goal there also, and they throw 4 passes, every one incomplete.

How hot is Riley's seat getting?

AP Poll...

Both polls...# 20

Yep. #20 in the Coaches poll as well. Nothing wrong with this. Keep winning, which should be easy (cough) and we will keep slithering up as others lose. As said elsewhere, mutts (barf) and TT winning doesn't hurt. BJC and Trucking School as well.

Both suck and the only good thing about the game that one of the loser treats had to lose.

OT- Oops, voter fraud is underway

When was the first time you kicked my ass on this board? Odd comment considering you conceded the self-appointed defenders of democracy don’t actually give a shit about democracy.

I didn’t say anything about 2020. Just because you’re fixated on it doesn’t mean everyone else is. This is just another example of the hypocrisy- boogeyman Trump is so terrible that no lie must be left untold, any and ll democratic principles should be sacrificed, to keep him out of office.
Swing and a miss...AGAIN. Why are you arguing democrats are the ones claiming they're fighting to save democracy? Could it be because of what happened in 2020? You don't need to mention 2020, because without that you have exactly ZERO basis to make a claim of hypocrisy by them.

You don't read very well, do you? Go back to the thread and your dumb argument about Biden taking out trump. I think it's on page 8. You scampered like a cockroach there as well. I kinda wish you were better at this. Being snarky and whiney does not a good argument make. Taihtsat

WSU Game Day Experience Improvements

This year is a new low for how WSU runs its game day. The Field House situation completely sucks compared to how it used to be run. No hard drinks, only beer & wine in cans. This has wrecked the field house and even my wife doesn’t want to go there any more. The concessions in the stadium near section 24 closed and forced more people to fewer lines. This sucks. The food is crap too, both in the FH and stadium. However the pulled pork in the FH is very good. It’s the only thing. Pops in the stadium are smaller and almost 7 bucks. This is highway robbery. The fan just doesn’t seem to matter at WSU anymore. Then throw in all the 7:30 and late game starts and I’m about done. A season ticket holder for over 25 years and it’s getting very close to watching on the big screen from the comfort of my own home. Everything WSU does for fans is to basically diminish the whole experience.
Hmm. I admit that I have not been to a game since Gameday. Guess I need to buck up and go to one to check it out. Back in the day, the fieldhouse was a madhouse. Packed, all kinds of alcohol, also easy to sneak a few of your own in. Was open during halftime. The Corporate tents out on the track, kiddie zone as well. Then the tents got moved to the practice field - is that still going on? And pre-FB only building, anyone else remember the endzone beer garden? Was only there for a season I think as construction was imminent.

Funny story. They had (maybe still do) a line of Honey Huts outside along the track outside the Fieldhouse. Somebody apparently shook one of them from behind, and this guy comes bursting out screaming "who did that, you made me spill my Coke!". And he wasn't talking about the soft drink.
Some might say Fan experience began going downhill the minute they stopped kegs from getting smuggled in by wheel chairs and hard liquor bottles in diaper bags.
Are you that old buddy? Based on your posting history, I had you pegged as, well, about 12. :)
I've told the story of my college days where students got in free and you could bring in anything as long as it wasn't glass. Thus the 5-gallon gas can of Spodie-odie that we brought in for I believe the AZ game in 1983. I'll refrain from repeating the entire story, including it running dry by halftime and we raced to the liquor store on my Yamaha to grab another half gallon of vodka to replenish it. Why I am still alive is mystifying.

WSU Game Day Experience Improvements

Fan experience was only a priority during the Leach years. Even then...it still wasn't exactly perfect. But before and after those years, WSU has done very little, and athletic events are run like the budget matters more than anything else. You get 7 premier events a season to bring in a lot of revenue and if you're not going to invest into making it badass, then why should people return? People buy with emotion. These events should be a sales pitch of the entire university, and unfortunately, it's always a whimper. WSU AD/Admin lacks visionaries.
I’m curious why you believe it was a priority during the Leach years. I didn’t see much going on then either.

OT- Oops, voter fraud is underway

Since I never get tired of kicking your ass on this board, I'll give you another chance to scurry away from a direct challenge to support your false-equivelancy claim that the Dems nominating process was the same anti-democratic action as attempted by trump in 2020. This is what I directed at you on page 5 of this very thread, which was followed by crickets from you. Here ya go:

What... you're still here? Oaks, let's redirect. Follow along and please and try to stay on topic.

You claim democrats are portraying themselves as the protector of democracy this election, fair enough. I'll grant thatmis certainly one of their main points. Then you say they are hypocrites because they succeeded in convincing Biden to step aside after the party primary voting was completed. Fair enough, I'll even grant that.

This is where you err in saying what trump did in 2020 (which we both agree the democrats are campaigning against this cycle) is the same as what the DNC and party leadership (including the FORMER speaker, pelosi - you like that 😉) did thru THIS nomination process.

One (trump) came AFTER the final election, attempting to thwart the will of the majority of voters, failed court challenges, massive pushback (even some from his own party) with trump still lying and whining about it to this day, vs the other (Biden - Harris) that happened PRIOR to the convention (where parties officially nominate their candidates for the big finale) which was followed by NO significant party dissent, a huge boost in national polling, a major campaign donation influx, increased enthusiasm amongst the base and momentum overall.

Now if you can comprehend THAT and STILL wish to maintain your false-equivelancy, explain how the national election process is the same as the party selection process! To be hypocrites on this, it must be the same. How is it the same?

To make your point, you'll have to explain how the Democratic party disregarded the will of their voters in selecting their nominee for president that resulted in NO legal challenges, NO other candidates stepped forward, there was NO outrage (except by you and your fellow trump supporters), and where half the nation supports the candidate - an INCREASE compared to the support Biden was receiving.

Make your case, counselor!

Also, you wouldn't feel bullied if you weren't such a debate coward.
