Apple Cup - Traitorous version (vent thread) Predictions

uw has a physical front seven so I don’t see the Cougs scoring more then 21. If uw turns it over 2+ and Cougs hang onto the ball we win.

We just ran for 300. Physical my ass. Their coach left for Bama because they ain’t Bama.

If we come to play we will stick it up their ass. They are the finesse team this year.

Hey Biggs, Loyal, where you @? I’m buying!!!

Ok so. You want to go to the game because you JUST learned the atmosphere is great, half the fans are in t-shirts and it’s not going to rain after all.

And Jake Dickert has personally invited YOU to join us. All of us.

You want to come but,

(pick one: too Cheap, Seattle hater, on a budget, skeptical, whatever, I don’t judge) but, Peacock sucks and you want to be here. Aaaaand, there is still time!
Here goes:

Go to

Gametime.co

Web page not app.

Apple Cup —-> Map View —-> view it, learn it then close it. Wwwait! ( if you Love to pay Surge pricing on Uber, keep it Open! If not, close it)

Now put on a hat and get down here!

@ 11:30 or so, repeat the process.

Feeling lucky? Then wait. Do not open the app. Open it at about 12:20 and buy ( or wait more and risk it.

(This is not intended to be investment advice, and you probably will lose money. Follow the strategy at your own peril)
Not that I need to explain myself to you or anyone else. But, in no particular order:
  • 2.5 hour drive (before hitting muttlake traffic)
  • Hate Seattle traffic
  • Drive home half-buzzed?
  • Probably get in a fight
I was going to find a bar to watch but wait. $7.99 for a month of Peacock, cold beer and chow in fridge vs probably $50 for beer and food at bar. I just signed up.

Sky isn’t falling

Partially. But playing WSU and OSU once per year isn’t going to bump that average by much.

The long term (well 4-5 years) anyway is for the teams in the Six Pac to play well when they face top level competition from the Power 4 conferences. CSU getting housed by Texas and Fresno State getting thumped decisively by Michigan wasn't a good start. Boise State still has the chance to be dangerous but couldn't quite take out Oregon. SDSU is obviously down at the moment. So there's work to do.

Not getting UNLV out the gate is a weird miss and I hope it gets rectified. FWIW, I specifically said conference games. There will be plenty of games below 500k, but we don't want to bring in teams who are bringing in 85k like Wyoming did against Idaho or 67k like Nevada got against Georgia Southern.
