Rain: doesn’t look like much rain and besides, the air at Lumen swirls high above and unless you’re in the first six rows or on the field, you aren’t getting wet.

I still don’t like Pat Chun, not sold on UW, their coach or their QB so 22-19 it is.

Unlike Biggs, (as I don't think Biggs likes CJD), in fact I think he loathes him! Notice how Biggs is quiet when we win?

That said, me on the other hand, I'm like you. I don't like Dickert, I love the guy. I personally think he's the best coach we've ever had, and I was a huge Leach freak.

Dickert with his leadership, his faith, his positive outlook, his ability to overcome major setbacks, his knowing how to manage players and a team, his heart, his blood, his defense coordinator experience, his intelligence of how to be successful, his ability to get his players to show up and be ready for big games, his family in Pullman and his kids in Pullman schools, his listening skills, his ability to not be cocky and high-minded, his recruiting, his salesmanship....all this adds up to be the best coach Washington State has ever had, in my opinion. (No Mike Price comments, please).

Oh, did I say Dickert is a salesman? This equates to recruiting, big time, where recruiting is everything.

If he wins big today, we're off to the races.

I predict I’ll be pretty indifferent compared to every other Apple cup I’ve watched. UW isn’t in our conference and isn’t even a threat on the national scene anymore with the deal they took.

Yeah I want the Cougs to win and yeah I still hate UW but if we lose it’s gonna feel like we lost to Rutgers or something, and if we win, we beat a middling P5 non conference team. Good for us, but not the same feeling.

That said, this is a pick’em game in the 27-24 variety IMO. I’ll say UW just for the reverse jinx.

To anyone paying attention it seems pretty clear he’s laying mushroom on her, and she’s so batshit crazy it’ll be a bridge too far for more than enough R voters. Remember, that’s how the Big 12 looked at WSU and OSU. WSU is in no position to be snobby. They need games. I don’t see the tv pay days like before returning.

So yeah, get as many as you can, move forward. At some point you’re gonna have to commit to building something people wanna watch. College football is a tv show. It doesn’t matter where the tv sets are. It matters that theyre tuned in to your show/game.

Ada county may be less likely to go along with the death penalty….but not much. Even Boise is still pretty red. And even in the liberal districts of WA, from the small sampling I’ve seen, there’s broad agreement that the death penalty was made for cases like this.
