I wonder if we will truly be west coast only...or if we go east

I'd rather see us poach the B12 and keep it more central. 3 hour plan rides are better than 6 hour plane rides.

Big 12teams get too much $ to drop to the PAC. That will never happen, as it stands now. They make 7 times what a PAC team will make.

Those who think we've got it bad

Probably up to Loyal's standards... maybe. He's pretty selective, and only the HOTTEST chicks are eligible to get with Loyal the Royal.
Power is sexy!

Tulane, Memphis, Rice (Houston), North Texas (Dallas) all seem like they could be attractive from a media standpoint.

The Mountain West Conference is likely done.
East. Better options. But this is likely a west coast pod.

As I've mentioned, I'd like to see the ACC, Big XII (and the new Pac) cooperate in some manner. Whether that means an all out merger, scheduling agreement that excludes B1G and SEC, or whatever. The best play is to go with strength in numbers.

Actually I have consistently predicted, projected, extrapolated, gone by what Canzano, Wilner, Ross Dellinger, Jim Williams, etc, have reported, extrapolated, etc.

And that is:

1. PAC 8 poach BSU, SDSU, Fresno St, UNLV, and 2 of either Memphis, Tulane, UTSA. This is pretty dam close to what PAC is doing now.

2. Reverse Merge the top 9 MWC, by having the TOP 9 dissolve MWC, then join PAC, leave bottom 3 behind.

3. The PAC join the ACC, when, if it falls apart.

I have not been throwing up 10 to 25 to 50 to 100 to 1000 things up, and see what sticks.

Others might have done that, but not me.

I kept telling Loyal, etc, that Canzano, Wilner, Ross Dellinger, Jim Williams, etc, that WSU would probably either poach the top 4,5 MWC teams, an or take top 9 MWC programs, or join ACC(and PAC 8 might semi probably still join the ACC, when, if ACC falls apart.)

So yes, I was pretty bloody damn accurate, because I followed Canzano, Wilner, Jim Williams, Ross Dellinger, etc.

And Loyal, others still have crow to eat.
Accurate? You've thrown out so much drivel that the shear volume of nonsense prohibits it from being listed

New Debate thread?

So you guys good with this? A bomb threat causing chaos in some random US city because a cultist believed Trumps BS about Haitians eating pets in that city and decided to go off the deep end? Sad thing is this idiot who doesn’t know any better will end up being prosecuted for the bomb threat while Trump will never face accountability for his endless stream of lies that leads to shit like this. Hundreds of cultists who were prosecuted for Jan 6th know the feeling.

With regards to the CSU versus UNLV question...
I'm not sure if anyone cares anymore, but from the standpoint of "culture", CSU is the closest match to WSU and OSU. Its a landgrant with a vet school and eyes on starting a med school. It is a true college town in a stunning setting with very new facilities. They are in a down cycle for football but strong in other sports and a very desirable location and a footprint in the exploding Denver/Colorado TV market. Obviously UNLV has a somewhat larger national brand, but that is largely based on basketball teams 30 or 40 years ago. I'm actually surprised we aren't hearing more mention of Wyoming. They are CSU actual rival and are loaded with money. They would probably be a better addition than New Mexico which is dirt poor.
I agree on CSU. Attended last years game there. 1st class new stadium. Great setting. Lots of up side potential with them and about an hour from Denver.

… and you believed it!

Harris should have NEVER no-showed the Fox debate. Big mistake.

Now, Harris is stuck. Won’t do interviews, won’t do press conferences. the last debate will be JD Vance vs Tim Walz.

Think about that.

Harris’ hopes rest solely on Tim Walz winging policy against JD Vance in prime-time combined with Harris’ fact checked clips from ABC ambush.
lol. What planet are you living on? Trump was embarrassed and Vance will be embarrassed by Walz to an even greater degree.

I’m not disagreeing that Harris bullshitted her way through several questions, that’s part of debating. But Trump shit his drawers. Dogs and cats, victor orban? Absolute clown show.

If you’ve paid any attention to Walz and Vance you can’t seriously expect any better.

Nice post. I agree that CSU is much like WSU. Don't forget that they are R1. Or that (bet 90% of this board's patrons, and 0% of the knuckle draggers (aka fine people) know this) CSU is considered to be one of WSU's peer universities - by WSU, see link below.

I didn't realize that Fort Collins was so big (161K) Damn near as big as Pullman - er Whiman County - er plus the Quad Cities....uh never mind. Student body bigger than WSU's. Stadium similar to WSU's, except that CSU has a beer deck right?

I enjoyed it tremendously last year when I went to the game down there. OH wait - shit I spewed out the story of my ill-fated trip almost a year ago. Never mind. Reflections from anyone who actually attended would be cool.

P.S. I was born in Colorado.
What loyal is trying to say is F CSU, he wants Montana tech in the P12 because Butte is as far as he can make it before he gets hammered and has his wallet swiped by a couple of truck stop ladies of the night.

You avoided the question. Do you think the lies and distortions were equivalent?

What Harris lie and distortion mandated a instant fact check to the same degree as the stolen election being pushed for 3.5 years or the incendiary immigrants eating pets which the GOP is actively pushing in this current news cycle?

This kind of shoulder-shrugging and "both sides do it" kind of thinking is exactly what the GOP is hoping those moderate voters will do. It suppresses voters. The only way they can win a national election. You've already expressed how it's working on you. Taihtsat
No candidate deserved to be fact checked by any “moderator “ ever.

We live in the age of the internet where all “facts” are “checked” individually and independently by each voter, over and over again until each individual voter is satisfied.

Why do you hate independent voters making independent personal decisions?

OT: Tua

Anyone see tonight’s Bills-Dolphins game? Tua left again with another concussion…didn’t even seem like that much of a hit this time.

I know he’s still in his 20s, but he needs to hang it up.
He went straight to fencer pose, from what should have been a routine collision.

After 2022, he needs to retire. He's going to have to deal with CTE and should focus on getting ahead of it.

I wonder if we will truly be west coast only...or if we go east

Honestly, if those are the choices I have to go with SJSU. They at least give us an appearance in the Bay Area. Wyoming and Reno don’t have market or recruiting grounds, Air Force and Utah state are only marginally better for either. Plus, most years having SJSU on the schedule is like playing an FCS team without actually playing an FCS team.
I understand what you're saying on San Jose St, but I'd rather have Wyoming just because of it being the entire state or Air Force for name recognition.

I have a soft spot for Nevada with the fun of Reno and a good excuse to go back down. They've had legit basketball success too
