...is an actual Rose Bowl, for their first championship. I'm rooting for tOSU, to slow down Oregon and Harbaugh a bit. I like the Big Ten-Pac XII matchup, though.
The Portland (OR) Central Catholic OL has committed to Oregon State. The three-star was a top Washington State target and I recall someone asking about him recently.
The two teams it appeared were challenging Washington State the most for four-star California athlete Stanley Norman - Arizona State and Louisville - will not have hats on the table when Norman announces his decision at the US Army All-American Bowl on Saturday. Check out what he has to say in the video interview below.
Hi Stewart, With Harbaugh going to Michigan, which division now has the best coaches? I would rank them (1) SEC West (Saban, Les Miles, Gus Malzahn, Kevin Sumlin, Dan Mullen, Hugh Freeze, and Bret Bielema); (2) Big Ten East (Meyer, Harbaugh, James Franklin and Mark Dantonio); and (3) Pac-12 North (David Shaw, Mark Helfrich, Chris Peterson, Mike Leach and Gary Andersen).

I've heard quite a few different broadcasters and stations talk about how great a QB this guy is. I see this guy make lots of costly mistakes every game. He routinely misses open WRs, and that last play was a terrible terrible mistake. Does anyone else feel like he gets a bit too much love? I know he's a Freshman but some of the misses and that clock management was high school level..
Article is about Lane but the quote is the reason for this post. Amazing the quote by Mama Kiffin about CML
For those that don't think that was a PR NIGHTMARE, here's another nugget to put on the pile of links and quotes to show people don't know the truth, but don't care to, either. Amazing.
Note: The article is from today (12-29-14) but the quote is from earlier this year so the quote is semi-outdated but still.
I don't know that there's any evidence out there, I don't know that anyone has talked to him, don't know if he's even available. But I sure wouldn't mind if he wanted to move up north. Thoughts?
TCU sure looks like they could hang with anyone in the top 4. Baylor would have been an intriguing team to see in there as well although I think TCU is better. Bummer. Final 4 is cool but hope it gets expanded to 8 sooner rather than later.
Austin Joyner talks to Rivals.com analyst Blair Angulo about recruiting at the Semper Fi Bowl. No surprise, but he pretty much makes it known that he's not considering Washington State and will not be visiting Pullman following his decision.
....kind of curious to see BSU against a pretty good Pac-12 team. I tend to think Arizona is going to dismantle them. But BSU seems to find a way to win in the Fiesta Bowl.
Surprised this hasn't been mentioned here. Chris Dyko was killed yesterday while riding his bike in a hit-and-run in Florida. He was a mainstay on one of the greatest O-lines in WSU History. The driver was an 88-year old who apparently returned to the scene.
Three-star receiver Lavan Alston has three official visits remaining, though he's only set one to Washington State for January 16. He recently added an offer from Nebraska and will likely visit given that the staff recruited him at Oregon State. Utah is the other likely trip.
On the upcoming Wazzu trip: "I'm looking forward to meeting the legendary Mike Leach. He's a great head coach. I'm really close with Dennis Simmons and have built a great relationship with them. I can't wait to visit them, talk to some of the receivers and get the inside scoop on coach Simmons."
Four-star outside linebacker Kyahva Tezino[/B] of Los Angeles Salesian has checked in at Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl registration sporting a Washington State beanie. He's solidly committed to the Cougars, but he's going to officially visit San Diego State on Jan. 23. ... Colorado, Oregon State and UNLV have also started to reach out, but Tezino doesn't know yet if he'll visit those schools.
So if sure seems like WSU has a lot of "quality" recruits that are still considering our program. But WSU's awful close to filling the classroom up. Hows that work? I realize greyshirting them is a possibility but would WSU pull a kids verbal to bring in a higher rated kid? I know it happens would WSU do it, you think? Or would we just ask every kid thats being replaced by a higher rated kid to greyshirt and if he backs out, he backs out Thoughts?
