The Hornets and Grizzlies are in the NBA Western Conference. Memphis and Tulane are basically west coast schools.
Shit CSU's President is a babe. Gawd what is she, 38?
Edit - she's 49 or 50. Smoking hot.
I would suspect UNLV will be invited at some point. That theory has pretty much been debunked according to posts elsewhere and a quote or two from a Nevada Regent. Maybe round 1 went that way, but it appears that it is an avoidable obstacle.
I didn't think so. Fully engaged and driving. Grabbing jersey in itself isn't holding, but using it to an advantage.Sure looked like Edson was held on the 4th-and-1, but still managed to make the play on Rogers.
If it WAS an unwilling husky scum and it was a one time deal, we can give Kurt a pass on this one.I think kurt is kind of embarrassed that he outed himself. Hey buddy, it's OK to be gay. The Coug tent is big enough for all kinds. Just don't stand too close to me.
Pat Chun does not deserve even a moment of my time to think about him.
Back in the glory days of WSU playing in Joe Albi Stadium, WSU played Oregon Ducks and Bobby Moore (AKA Ahmad Rashad), with their star back averaging about 120-130 yards per game. Bernard Jackson busted loose for 260 yards and Moore ran for 160. Comment in the Spokesman stoary was about how the Cougars defense "held" Moore to only 160 yards, which you can see was way above his average per game. LOLUW's RB (Coleman) had 14 carries for 75 yards, a 5.4 YPC average. That's not exactly shutting him down.

Agree there. I'd like to see the contract for these next 4 games. And look forward to seeing our actual $ take on Saturday's game.If we have to play body bag games, play body bag games.
And I'd like to see some backup on the $3 million to $5 million per year. Additional ticket sales due to a uw matchup would not give us that kind of money at Martin Stadium.
UNLV was invited and apparently the State of Nevada said it had to be a package deal with Nevada Reno. Why were they not invited (yet)? Or were they, and they said no? The UNLV/UNR "package deal" hypothesis is out there but doesn't seem to be the reason - but maybe it was. Regents are saying they didn't deep-six it, they don't know anything apparently.
So WTF happened? UNLV is an absolute no-brainer and should have been the first or second invite. UNLV fans think we dogged them and don't want them. I don't believe that. This needs to be fixed. I dunno who else we will invite, but UNLV HAS TO BE the next one.
Dickert has a better record than Price did through the first four years of their WSU careers.Jake Dickfore is not this amazing coach you make him out to be. He is learning on the job at best, could/should have been fired after last season.
Now he is given the weakest schedule, could be ever, for a WSU team. He should be feasting on these teams.
And here you are like a fanboy slobbering all ofer him. Get off your knees MI. Good grief.

If we have to play body bag games, play body bag games. And what’s your proposal to replace the $3-5M that game brings to the program every year?
BSU has a way to embarrass other teams at home so we need to bring our A game. However, I am more concerned about SJSU since they are the next ones up.

Glad your not in chargeYou'll already see MWC 2.0 in your season package moving forward. That one game isn't going to move the needle, and for once I would rather WSU stood up for itself and told UW to go away forever.
After we beat SJSU, glad we get an extra day, and a very short trip, in advance of BSU. That is going to be a tough game. Then glad we get a week off before going to Fresno, although WSU has tended to be flat after bye weeks. That was before Dickert.Yes they're that good.
There is no doubt that Dickert makes mistakes. Not kicking the early field goal was really dumb and could have cost us the game. Not calling a timeout when the offense was clearly in disarray was another mistake. The ill conceived QB draw in the endzone on 1st down at the end of the game was dumb.
That said, we are 3-0 despite our team not executing perfectly and despite imperfect decisions. With just a little bit better decision making (and better kicking), we would have been up by 11 and feeling way more confident with 2 minutes to go in the game. We may end up being favored in every game the rest of the season. We have a scrub schedule, but it's the kind of schedule that could have us sitting at 12-0 in December, despite your perception that Dickert is terrible.
And all kidding aside, I don't believe that WSU wins the Apple Cup if Mike Leach was our coach. He would have had Mateer throwing passes standing in his end zone and giving the Huskies free timeouts. Also, he would have never allowed Mateer to run the way that he has. Dickert isn't a "great" head coach at this point in his career, but he sure looks like he's the perfect coach for us right now.
Recall that someone else reminded us that Doba was 3-2 in the Apple Cup, thanks to husky-killer Brink.Of all the people you can kick sand on, why Dickert? I've never heard him say a bad word about anyone, and he is universally liked within the program.
I don't know how good of a coach he is or will be, but he's a done a great job of holding the program and the roster together during some turbulent times. His 4-year Apple Cup resume is better than any WSU coach in my lifetime. 2-2 with one of the losses coming on the road on a last second FG against the National Runner Up.
