Anyone hearing anything interesting coming out of spring camp? Third practice happening today.

I say low class because they were so busy celebrating they didn't even shake hands with Iowa after the game, although their coaches did. Even after Iowa hung out for a few waiting for it. And LSU's center (Reece?) was caught on camera heckling Caitlin Clark right at the end, Yapping at Caitlin and pointing to her (championship) ring finger. What a bunch of female punks.

Interesting note...8 of the Cougs 9 runs came with 2 outs. The other one run was a solo homer.

Anyone else watch this? What a great game. Iowa wins by 4 - Caitlin Clark scores 41 of Iowa's 77 points. I know it makes me a dirty old man pervert, but I am in love with her. What a sweetypie.

Kinda interesting, pretty much all game it was all white Iowa vs. all black S. Carolina. No opinion, just an observation.

What a finish. Probably a pac-12 opponent in a couple of years if the pac doesn't fold.

Finally got around to watching Coach Prime on Amazon. I have to admit that he wasn't who I was expecting.

Old school, hard nose football coach who manages to mix in just enough players coach to keep the prima donnas happy.

If he can get and keep players and coaches at Colorado they'll be dangerous.

Been saving this one for quite a while, but since we are on a roll with music threads I thought I would throw it into the mix. I love music with a great story, always have. That said, here are the ones that jump to mind for me, and I reserve the right to add to it later as someone else popped into my addled brain....

• Gordon Lightfoot- So prolific, such a great sound, Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald leads the way
• Mark Knopfler- Also a great sound, and a great ability to tell a great story out of mundane, everyday events. Things besides love, broken hearts, trucks, drugs, and the horrible greed of the music industry.
• Harry Chapin- WOW! Went to his concert at the Paramount, so riveting that several times after a song there were several seconds of silence by the crowd. Taken away too soon.
• Willie Nelson- What did he have, like 850 albums?
• Jim Croce- Operator, Time in a Bottle are classics. Also taken away from us way too soon. (Honorable mention for fitting so much meaning into those old AM radio time limitations)

Why have we not heard yet about a PAC-12/10 TV deal. It seems the longer this drags out the worse it’s going to be for the Conference. what about expansion with SDSU & SMU? Somethings got to give. I hope it’s not the dumpster for the Conference of Champions!

Back in the portal. Probably needs to go small conference like Big Skyish or D2 and focus on his education. Not significant playing time at SMU who was not a good team.
