There seems to be a good deal of respect between the Cougs and the Beavs.

Would a big trophy and an official name for the rivalry drum up even greater interest for the fan bases and from the Pac-12's media partners?

So where the heck are we on this? I remain an advocate for San Diego State and UNLV. Fresno would be my 3rd choice. Screw trying to poach the Big12 and/or other Texas schools. Keep us the "Pacific 12".

SDSU, with their brand new stadium, keeps us in SoCal, (Fresno to a lesser extent), and UNLV is well, Vegas. I assume they will get to play in the Raiders stadium. I fear that sitting on our hands for too long will result in disaster.
