Huge disagree. There is no such thing as a short yardage running game with Leach. WSU would have passed.
If you can't gain one yard without feeling the need to run some half-assed trick play.....you need to fire your OL coach.
Disagree in this case. Horrible execution and a soft as butter 3rd down run by Borghi.
and if the QB handed the ball off on a straight away run there was an easy 5 or more yard gain.
I thought he had the option to do the handoff and not just commit to the pass but I could be wrong.
Even the UW commentator said the Cougs should run the ball straight ahead more often.

I can say with full confidence that Cooper could do better because I know it's not going to happen.
Yea, he’s a Big-10 QB. USC or Stanford. Most mid-tier programs can’t pocket protect.

I think you are correct. He needs to be able to run between the tackles. He gets his yardage by bouncing things outside. In the NFL he is not going to be able to outrun the LBs as easily.
The online isn’t playing poorly yet. Some trouble with blitzing, but Guarantano can’t pre-snap read worth a damn.
