first part not relevant, second part not true. point is, whether it's a foul literally depends on where he's looking (!) and not on what he does. why not throw the flag on QBs looking off DBs for "dishonesty"? bad ticky-tack rule

Running back should never get that call running in a straight line against a defender coming in a straight line.

5. Good defense.
6. Cam Ward running has been awesome, more of that and handing off to JENKINS please.
7. Cam Ward good completion percentage, and nice touchdown throw.
8. More stupid playcalling by Morris.
9. WSU offense shooting themselves in foot.

It’s horse shit. Spearing? Blatantly leading with the head? Genuine intent to harm? Yes. All targeting. Tackling a moving target needs some leniency. Especially between the tackles.
But it's not called like that except for down field passes. If the qb doinks one off the LBs back on a crossing route, it's never called PI.
You’re not drawing good comparisons. Where a QB looks does not physically interfere with anyone. An LB stepping in front of a screen is making a play on the ball.
If the DB is playing the ball, and there’s some contact as both players go for the ball, it’s often not PI (although it goes to ref judgement too often). If the DB runs into the receiver without looking at the ball, he’s not playing the ball. If that impacts the receiver’s path to the ball, it’s interference. This isn’t new, and it’s reasonable. Without it, you just maul every receiver and there’s nobody to throw to.
If the LB didn’t contact a receiver and prevent him from getting to the ball, it’s not PI
No, we ran the same play on 3rd & 16 earlier. We’re dynamic that way.
Cam is slow, but the offense is seriously challenged. Losing Borghi, McIntosh, Travell, Calvin Jackson, along with the OL losses has depleted us.

Really unfortunate to watch, but not surprising. Physical teams give us problems.
