Official Game Thread. Americas Team vs utah

MORRIS WOULDNT HAND THE BALL OFF TO BORGHI, MCINTOSH AS WELL.

STOP DEFENDING MORRIS'S DUMBASSNESS, STUPID, BAD PLAYCALLING, BAD OFFENSE, ETC.
We have a talent problem on the line, but I think Cam is responsible for most of the offensive problems. He’s not AT ALL a game manager. Has no concept of game flow.

This is just like the OSU game.

MORRIS BEING A DUMBASS, NOT HANDING THE DAMN BALL OFF TO JENKINS, ETC, EXTREMELY BAD PLAYCALLING, MORRIS BEING THE ONE TO BLAME, AT FAULT, FOR THE EXTREMELY BAD OFFENSE, LACK OF YARDS, LACK OF SCORING, ETC, IS HOW THE SAME AS OSU GAME.

WSU players, showed up, playing hard.

1000% ON MORRIS

we are 2 for 2 on vertical pass plays. Only problem is, we have thrown vertically only twice

Of course MORRIS NEVER GOES BACK TO THE WELL OF WHAT WORKS.

IF SOMETHING WORKS, WHETHER GOING VERTICAL OR 8 YARDS EACH CARRY, MORRIS WILL IMMEDIATELY STOP DOING IT, AND ALMOST NEVER EVER GO BACK TO IT AGAIN.

Ward has to run the ball to make the offense go at all.
It’ll open up so much if they’ll give him that green light…and if he’ll commit and keep moving. If the D has to account for him running, it slows the blitz and opens up other things.

This game is still in reach, but the D needs to come through here.

Wow. Massive holding right up the middle, right in front of the back judge. No flag.

Defense keeping the team in the game despite the huge loss of Jackson.
Ward can't afford to make a play of loss on this drive.
Keep the pressure on the Utes.

OH YEAH ONLY ABOUT THE 6,7,8 SIDELINE SWING PASS TO GO FOR NEGATIVE YARDS THIS GAME

MORE PLEASE. KEEP ON DOING IT MORRIS.

NOT.

SURE YOU WILL CONTINUE TO DO IT

Ward doesn’t throw those short passes well. He goes sidearm and almost submarine, and always throws behind the receiver. It pulls them backward, ruins the timing, and gives the D time to recover.

And then he runs out of bounds to avoid aggravating his vaginitis.

MUST STUPIDLY CONTINUE TO TRY TO DRIVE SQUARE PEG THRU ROUND HOLE FOR DUMBASS STUPID MORRIS

This offense is bad, plain and simple. All aspects, OL, QB, WR, and play calling.

Hey btw, you have to score twice so make sure to run the play clock all the way down... great game management

shocking that Ward is 26/29. I really don’t feel like he’s played that well. Must be the number of times he’s thrown that screen for a loss…and how much he’s left on the table.

He is 26 of 29 screen, sideline swing passes that have netted negative yards, etc.

That's not good, and not on Cam, and on Morris.

He didn't used to. He started the season hitting about half his wrs in stride.

He has regressed.

The way Utah is playing D, a screen isn’t a bad idea. It’s just the screens we're running that are bad ideas.

They’re rushing the middle so we throw to the edge. No. Let Paine whiff on his block (he’s doing it anyway) and then throw the halfback screen into the middle, behind the rush. Even if it doesn’t quite work, they’ll have to respect it and that slows the rush.

It’s the decision making that makes it look bad.

He runs up the completions on passes/catches that don’t matter. It’s a swing pass offense because nothing is open down field.

The offensive line and void at running back are crippling.
Yeah, this offense might have a prayer of working if it had a Leach OL and group of RBs (WRs, too, although some of his, and Stribling, remain). It's not easy to beat the #14 team with a lousy OL and a 5'9" walk-on back-up RB getting as many snaps as he an handle while getting lit up.
